Resale is only like $20 over retail depending on your size. I think they're definitely worth that. I paid the same over retail for the Genesis and while they're nice too, the bodegas are better.

997 are more TTS than most from what I've read, don't own any. So I'd say an 8 would definitely be too small.

Did anyone cop the Niobium 2, and if so, how is the fit? Is the upper wide foot friendly? Lol

I copped the brown colorway. They fit half a size big on me, but I prefer a little extra length for sandals.
There's not much wiggle room for me in the toe box area and I have regular width feet if that helps at all.
