Word. I think 4 pairs on ice is plenty, haha. My current pair is almost done which is why I wanted to get another one for regular wear (I do have one additional pair on ice as well). I personally agree with you on the GL4 being the GOAT (at least for NB). This particular shoe is the reason why I've managed to keep my shoe collection relatively small. I'm down to 9 pairs of NBs and three of them are this shoe :smile:

How do you guys decide when a pair is done?

My shoes, especially 990s, go through a metamorphosis of sorts:
Stage 1.) New - Work and Hangouts
Stage 2.) Broken in - Dog walking and neighborhood chores
Stage 3.) Used - Wear to gym, run on treadmill
Stage 4.) Worn - Running in the streets
Stage 5.) Broken down - BBQing And hiking
Stage 6.) Lawn mowing
Stage 7.) Proper Burial

1. New—work, dog walks (regular neighborhood, no dirt)
