They do that for just about every pair an I've had pies that had a card and it had flaws. Also has anyone tried on the new ML1978 model? Interested to see how the vibram is as far as comfort goes

Received my 1500's from SoleHeaven. First time ordering from them so I was unsure of what to expect.
Very quick (free) shipping and they came in a solid double box much like End.
They're definitely on my top list for all Flimby pairs going forward (along with End and Hanon).

Vibram is cool but after several wears, it bottoms out.

Idk about that, the 990s have vibram and I've had pairs for nearly 4 years and are still very comfortable, in fact some of my most comfortable NB's. Just wish they have used something different on the 247, its a sleek model if you have right foot but it is atrociously uncomfortable. Think you may be getting rev lite confused with vibram.

^ agree. I've had my 990s for about 4 years now and the bottom has held up really damn well. A lot of quality boots also use Vibram soles.

These look sleek as hell. I too am very interested in this Vibram sole. its its anything like the 990 sole it should be great.

I did the same. I find the mesh on the toe to be very thin and there's no padding or lining so they fit rather big.

Yea I think he is thinking when a shoe is just made out of vibram, which isn't the case when NB uses vibram. They just use a vibram outsole to help enhance the cushioning.

Thank You Maria from the NB1 factory! She hand-crafted these masterpieces! I hate to say it but, I love these more than my mesh version. The perf toe suede is butter a long with the rest on the 998! Nooo toe dents on the toe wrap, JUST STR8 BUTTER!!! I'm very happy with the shape of these (granted they're women's size B width). I can't wait til my other shipment comes in!

They fit good for me, I have a really narrow foot thooo, like if you seen my barefeet you would think I was a foot model. (I have a egyptian womens looking foot)
They fit a little different in the sense that the width is a little bit more narrow and also the toe wrap shape is a little bit different from mens and womens... I like them both though, but the Women 998's seems to be more compact and sturdier on my foot.

Maybe I'm rougher with my shoes?
I walked all over downtown LA for a few days in my 990HL and cobblestones. The cushion isnt the same since then and causes minor discomfort when I wear them all day now. As opposed to my 998HTB, still mad comfortable with daily wear.
