thanks. I have finally figured out my NB size (thanks to a trip to the outlet when I was on vacation)
But I have the most trouble with the 998.
TTS is too long, but half size down is too tight where the 3m piece behind the toe box is.

I own 3 998's in my TTS and I can wear them, but I hate how long they are

That's the pain of wide footed. I feel you there. After several wear, my 998 grand Tourer loose up, in addition to loosening on the laces

CNCPTS 997/998 came in the mail today. Absolutely lovely pairs. I hope everyone enjoy their own pairs

Kinda glad and mad to hear that. I have 3 pairs I wish were smaller. Guess I might have to sell some. Re buying them is the problem. Oh well. That's life.

I find I'm able to wear everything a little long as long as the width is on point.  There isn't much slippage because I have an orthotic that cups the heel, and the width is right for a snug fit.

Hmm. Maybe I should look into that.

I used to go TTS on my 998s and finally realised they fit a ton better half down. Liquidated and rebought about 5 pairs.

I bought my HTB at TTS. Yet to reach my doorstep, hopefully it will fit similar to my 997 TTS which isn't very long.

Honestly not so bad, just that i have a narrow foot and prefer a snug fit so half down is perfect for the 998 for me.

997s have a narrower toebox so i go TTS on them.

Have you tried 997 on half size down?

I have.  I size the same as mykoh in 997/998 and the half down from TTS in the 997 is just slightly too small.  I still own my first pair, the NV's, in this size but I rarely wear as my toes are touching the front which bugs me.

Do the factory stores usually have further sales or Markdowns? I'm at the Brighton one and there's like 5 I want but not sure if there will be a sale.

Sometimes they'll have BOGO 50% off. Or just a 30-40% off everything.  Not sure how often though.  What they have?

996DOL for $90, bunch of 998 like CSB for $110 and CSEF for $100. Bunch of 997CRG for $150. I came to see if they had grand tourer but they don't. Gonna end up buying the last 10.5 of the 997CSEA for $100.

Great prices. They recently had a BOGO 50% off sale that ended the last week of March so it may be a while until they have one of those massive sales again. You can usually count on a few store-wide 30-40% off deals throughout the year but it may be a few weeks/months before they have one since they just had the BOGO. You can play the waiting game and gamble, it's what I usually do and end up saving money lol.

Yeah I'm gonna wait for a further discount on the ones that they had a bunch of. Was surprised to see how much good stuff they had I've never been to a factory store. The materials on the DOL is sick though.

DOL for $90 is a steal!!! You should def pick those up.  They're one of the best 997.  Colors and materials are top notch.
