I believe in MA any single item over 175 gets taxed, called a Luxury tax I believe and any amount over the 175 gets taxes so 65 * .0625 so about 4.06 in tax.

Just for future reference, I'm typically a 9us in Nike, adidas saucony. But wear a 9.5 in asics Gl3. What size do you recommend in NB 997? And does that go with the other models as well?
