yes is my guess, i know they had several models and colors to choose from but this late into it (ie pictures popping up on displays), it is safe to assume this is the release pair or very close to it

Ya The materials on these are very nice, The suede is super soft the pigskin lining and the black leather is soft as well. It feels a bit chunky on the forefoot, but thats prolly because of the thick sole.
The quality is on point in my eyes. I could only imagine if it were a made in USA 1700! Im a wide footer so these are dope. The only gripe I have is the laces I dont like the stock laces on them. Same white laces that came with my 997GY.
As a wide footer how did you size on these???
I bought them in my regular NB sz 10. most of my nbs in a sz 10 fit the same as these except those 1300 st.alfreds which fit bigger. in the 997 sz 10 fit a little long but to narrow/snug in a 9.5 for more sizing reference. I would go with your true NB size.
