2k is set up to where 12 minute quarters will get you realistic results if you're playing sim style basketball . I like playing 12 minute quarters during my seasons. I only play on days where I have time to relax and playing 1 or 2 games during that period is cool with me. Its definitely not f or everybody, though.

Also, I saw a tweet for the @2kStauff guy about those colored socks. He said the players will wear whatever they wear in real life, so that's a good sign on that front :lol

Same here, I can only do 2 game most, if not a 3rd on late nights.
very time consuming but also satisfying.

i used to always play on the side view, i forget the actual name, but it was basically the view if you're sitting halfcourt, yet dynamic. but i think they got rid of it or changed it some yrs ago, but playing on the 2k view since like 2011. can't change now. it's funny because growing up on the early 2ks, whenever i would go to my boys crib to play they always had it on the 2k view and i hated it. i loved that side view even though there were hella blind spots. but thats how all bball games were, side scrolling, til that 2k setting came out.

dynamic broadcast?

i mean it was the side view I think, but it seems to follow the action better than the regular courtside view. IT was such a dope view, it looked exactly how it looks on tv and when you go the the game, it was from that pov. they still have something like it, but the camera is situated too high and even with adjustments its too far away

yo coldcity, did you end up preordering the jordan one? I'm still thinking. like, i want to wait til the very last minute lol. Does anybody do the $5 joint anymore? on bb.com you buy the whole game and then just pick it up when it drops. i have commitment issues

Honestly, this is some good BASKETBALL discussion. I know we tend to get caught up in the gameplay videos, we like to pick those apart but hearing the philosophies that go behind what was put into the game, can't spend your time any better.

But of course, these things are as visible as Nike Elite Socks so this might fall upon deaf ears.
