Anyone in here pre order the jordan edition? Worth the extra monies?

If digital than no,

Physical lets see

Game is $60 + 30,000 vc is worth $10 so thats $70 right there. The poster is probably worth like $5 and the fathead is worth $5-$10 and the myteam packs aren't cheap too also you get a MJ card for myteam that is only available in this version and clothing

I think it is

Word thanks for yalls replies, makes sense money wise if youre going to be spening the cash on the game later anyways.

I just wonder if you can still switch out the covers to the other sig athletes with the MJ edition.

I'm gonna cop the mj one. That vc alone is worth it since **** boy 2k charges for everything.

Man, I aint even know the MJ one gave you 30k VC, that's worth the pre-order. If I can get it for $70, that'd be even better. Have to check my Gamestop points and see if I have enough for a coupon......However, if I wait and get the regular edition during the holiday shopping season for less than retail and just buy the VC after I find a PS Store card on a discount, I'd come out on top even more 8o

I've spent good money on these "next gen" systems and their are only a few games that actually show their "next gen" acumen and 2K has been stagnant with the same visuals since the first iteration on these consoles with actually 2K14 looking the best. Excuse me for wanting the same visual fidelity ala games like The Order, Ryse, MGS5, DriveClub, The Show, etc. If a graphics engine overhaul has to be done it's time. We're on the third year bro I'm tired of looking at the same ****
Going to have to agree with KingFoam on this.

I want to start by thanking the folks at 2K for working time and time again at developing top of the line NBA licenses. There was a point in time that nobody thought 2K could top Live, but EA slowly fell from grace, recycling the same graphics, uninspired gameplay, lack of modes, and just general laziness across the board.

Once the next gen consoles of yesteryear were produced (360, PS3), 2K gained the throne, giving us some great titles throughout the franchise, while LIVE sat in purgatory, made by Andrew Bynum himself.

Where are we now? A great game, but who's to say that will be from now on? I don't think its much to ask for a graphical improvement. The argument is null on it being a "year after year sports title", considering that MLB the show made a MASSIVE step up in its second iteration on the PS4, Live looking better, hell, even Madden stepped it up in its 3rd time around. I don't think fans are in the wrong for wanting a bit more fidelity.

I'm not saying that I'm not going to purchase the game, or even think about boycotting a purchase. I've been on the 2K bandwagon since 2k7, and I haven't missed a game yet. But making it seem like its a demand for visual improvements undermines the integrity of the consumer (or at the very least, comes across as such).

IMO the reason why some would say 2k14 had the better graphics was because player models seemed bigger and the court was smaller.

Plus the stadium lights were turned all the way up in every arena to highlight the next gen graphics. Lights were a lot more accurate in 2k15

Nah that's not the reason why I felt 2K14's graphics were better. I felt the court lighting, sweat, arenas, uniforms, skin shaders were all slightly more detailed and offered a more immersive experience. You put 2K14 and 2K15 side by side and 2K15 looks like the first iteration on the new consoles.

Stadium lights n court reflection makes the game look different in every aspect IMO

The courts looked amazing in 2K10 compared 2k11 because of the court reflections

But you don't ever get a SEVERE graphic update from one yer to the next is what I am saying man. That isn't a realistic expectation by any stretch

Dude talking about year to year :lol first and foremost no title should regress visually and thats what happened between 14 and 15 and besides that point im talking about 2K14 compared to 2K16. Dude who posted the videos showing the difference in court lighting proved my point. When I watch NBA basketball the lighting plays a huge role in how the court, arena, fans, and players look. Whatever reason why their lighting system is inconsistent doesn't matter IT SHOULDN'T BE INCONSISTENT

You honestly feel the graphics from 2K14 to 2K15 were a downgrade? I guess it really wouldn't be visible for me because I play on 2K Cam zoomed out.

those new Clippers unis are a travesty, i'm moving them to Seattle soon I get the chance
2k16 looks better graphically than 14,15

they look about the same to me.  i think it's a matter of art vs. graphics

they've made some artistic improvements year to year, but the graphics don't seem to change tremendously
