yep

haven't played myTeam in a couple years but you spend like 10K VC on a pack for a chance to get one of the boosted players. 9/10 times you'll spend like $50 & not even get the player you want

There's two currencies in myteam

VC is one which is the fast and easy way

Then there is myteam coins which you get from playing games,doing challenges, selling players, and grinding. Has more value than VC but harder to grind

You use the currency to buy packs to get players,coaches,jerseys etc

There is different packs that cost different amounts. More expensive the pack the better chance of getting a good player.

There is also special packs that have there own theme like 6MOTY, ROTY,MVP,DPOY etc gives you the chance to get a card based on that players accomplishments. Like ROTY Patrick Ewing.

Then they got tb cards which is based on a players season like 08 Kobe,07 Melo, 03 Tmac

Most people use VC to buy packs and use the myteam coins to get a specific player on the auction house.

It's all a cash grab for 2k

In other words, MyTeam is basically like FIFA's Ultimate Team game mode.............and you know how much EA is raining cash from their FIFA games (and Madden games, obviously)

About to get into ranked online heavy. So far my record is 11-4. Love how you get extra wins if you use a tier 2 or 3 team.

Is there any benefit to playing for the championship? I've been skipping them.

Even if it is for a moments card, Crawford jumping up to 96 is absolutely ********.

If that is the case, then they need to Crawford a 99+ rated card for his 52 point game against the Miami Heat when he was wearing a Knicks jersey in 2007.
