I still want the higher seeds to pick their playoff opponents

It shouldn’t because say for instance the worse team in the league wins one of the 2 spots that’s more than likely just 2 more home games for money & a playoff check. The team still sucks & needs the high pick

1-14 raw seeding
the 16 other teams compete in a single game playoff elimination for the final two seeds.
Allows the season to be shortened because you make up the revenue missed by replacing them with playoff games.
It would make money
And it would limit tanking because everyone would make the playoffs and could conceivably make the big show aka the top 16.
