This reminds me of a conversation I was having ...
A hardcore Lakers fan (no pun intended) was telling me about the history and all the greats and I made the comments towards the name and he was stump. I asked do you know where the name come from? And he came up with some random **** that it didntbmake sense .. LA and they added kers to sound cool.
There are a lot of cool stories behind some of the names .
Lakers is simple .... Minneapolis, the land of 10k thousand lakes.
Jazz .... New Orleans the birthplace of Jazz
Pacers .... No brainer Indianapolies 500 (pace car).
Pistons .... name after the then owners business
Rockets .... another fan Vote , however Rockets used to be manufactor in San Diego. When they moved to Houston they kept it because that's NASA space center.
Cavaliers .... a fan vote "Cavaliers represent a group of daring fearless men, whose life pact was never surrender, no matter what the odds."

As much as I dislike L38ron, there's no place in the world for dumb people like this.
Just because someone doesn't have a college degree does not mean they don't have a voice.
Perception is reality and I agree with L38ron to an extend. Trump is not in touch with regular people. He doesn't care about regular people... he cares about the wealthy no matter what skin color. Whether is true or not, again, perception is reality.
