Harrison Barnes will be Danny Granger (poorer shooter).

I honestly don't think Barnes' defense ever gets to the level of Granger's. I know Harrison took strides at UNC under Roy to improve his defense and I'm rooting for "Black Falcon."

This dude James Harden is living the life.

Rumor was Harden's poor Finals performance can partially be blamed on partying late-nights in Miami during the series.

His recent 80's r'n'b party > the all white birthday party but yea, son stays face deep in some stripper's ***. And yea, while I never heard any rumors (maybe started them) or saw any evidence to the fact of his Miami disappearance having to do with late nighter's with his then girlfriend, Miami rapper Trina, that was always my assumption. Dude got hit with the okie doke. I wouldn't be shocked if that had anything to do with why Ibaka got his $ first. Presti and the rest of these dude place an immense value on "character" (at the expense of wining at times, IMO, given the FAs that we did not pursue) and might not think too highly of his twitter/instagram exploits. I give 0 ***** though.

Who would you take though? MKG wouldn't fit what they need, Bradley Beal would just be a better shooting but less all-around player, Robinson would just be buried behind Perk and Ibaka. They'll probably shop him around near all-star break and get someone to overvalue him and get a nice little package for him

No. Beal I think will be good. But beyond being smaller than advertised (can't be more than 6'4), he isn't James Harden, who I think could play in an all star game as early as next season. If I was in charge, and writing the checks, I'd just sign him and quit being scared of the salary cap and sign more FAs too. It's a worthwhile investment to go over if it wins you a title, plus I think winning a title guarantees KD stays in 2016 and Russell in 2017, which again means the investment pays itself back off compared to the prospect of losing them and tons of $ with it. So if I gotta sign someone who's kind of a douchebag with a past like Matt Barnes, Kenyon Martin, or Ivan Johnson, or go a bit over the cap (plus lose money by cutting loose guys like Lazar Hayward and Cole Aldrich who are guaranteed $ but *** talent level), then so be it

I'm in the camp that believes MKG could fit anywhere because of his hustle, motor, and strong defense. He doesn't need a team to fit his style, his style fits any team. Could very well see MKG as a poor man's Scottie Pippen, maybe closer to Dre without the same athleticism. Beal would be a significant upgrade as a spot-up shooter than Thabo, mainly known for his defensive prowess, more explosive and consistent than Cook. Financially it just made sense to move Beard and not handcuff yourself to four expensive players.

I'll give Presti the benefit of the doubt but I'm pretty sure the main issue isn't whether Harden is worth the contract, it's if he's worth the hit on the luxury tax which OKC is actively trying to avoid. PJ3 could be a late-first steal if he gets his head on straight, works hard in the gym, and proves his worth/potential. I just don't think you can keep Durant, Russy, Beard, and Ibaka but still surround them with effective talent to fill out the roster. Maynor is all but gone and a solid PG that could turn into a Darren Collison-type contributor.

i cant wait for this season to start. i wanna see how my teams play out with there new additions (knicks, lakers) im trying to catch that nets vs knicks opener but them tickets in the barclays center are expensive as f*@$. idk why there so expensive and there season ticket plans u gotta commit for 3 years in the good sections these dudes is out their minds.
