44 minutes. Flu. Still lose is comedy. The best part about DBD's trolling is it works cause the Lakers are garbage now. So he can continue this and once they go on their 9 game winning streak (which they will) he can disappear and CP will think he won. Then Lakers get bounced in the 2nd round and he can come out of hiding and that will infuriate the Laker fans BRILLIANT
I think the dude Crawford put on skates if I'm remembering correctly. Nevermind, I don't think thats him.Who the **** is NANDO DE COLO? Lmao

There's no denying Popovich is a great coach but dude is every bit of a diva as Phil Jackson, except in a different way. He seems to ignore and even disdains the fact that his team and the wins they get mean nothing without paying fans. That's great that he's so focused on winning and stuff and acting aloof during interviews, but who's paying for his salary? The sponsors and fans that pay big money for the games.
What's your point here?
So teams should be forcing their best players out on the court every night, even with the risk of injury, faitigue, and/or the long-term success of the team?
Popovich sees that playing his older stars beyond a certain extent may damage their bodies and the team's long-term health. Sacrificing one game may mean saving them for a handful of more important ones down the line.
How is it Stern's job to say otherwise?
Pretty much how I feel.So teams should be forcing their best players out on the court every night, even with the risk of injury, faitigue, and/or the long-term success of the team?

There are always complaints about how an 82-game schedule is bordering on too grueling for a player's body, a view shared by Charles Barkley. Popovich obviously is thinking the same way, at least with his older players (Danny Green nonwithstanding).
How is it against league rules to rest your players to combat fatigue and potential injury if you see fit? To me, it sounds like it's simply against league rules because the league set up this marquee game on TNT Thursday Night and Popovich has decided his player's health is more important.
