I don't see anything more than a guy that can stretch the floor some (he has more range than those two though) and garbage baskets around the basket. That's just me though.

Patterson doesn't have the athleticism to be anything like Aldridge. This is the first time he's been 100% healthy since his rookie year, and it's definitely showing. West/Milsap is pretty spot on.That Udonis Haslem comparison is
Haslem rarely scores (doesn't have to anyway) and is really good on defense, and Patterson is a steady scorer and decent on decent. Haslem is a glue guy, and Patterson is/can be a lot more than that.@solarius I saw you post this in TAN and I was about to reply to it, but by the time I got around to it I was trying to find it but you edited it with 'wrong thread'

I goddamn KNEW it. I saw that Derek was considering coming back soon with an NBA team, I knew it wasn't the Lakers.
Well, all I know is that signing Fisher is a lot better than having Dominique Jones running back-up point, and especially starting point.
We've needed some perimeter shooting, because we've gone cold recently, and Murphy can go to hell.
