waiting for andrew bynum to grow dreads or rock the cornrows/braids
if he is healthy and motivated, he will beast. east or west, doesnt matter. im not even a huge bynum fan, but there arent any centers in this league

I said right now. Not in May

So far the Clippers have beat the Lakers, Heat, Spurs in blow out fashion.

I still can't stand them but after watching last night game i think this team is the best right now

By the way. I spotted Mjshoe last night in the crowd :lol

the Pacers need a coaching change badly. They have no "system" in place, no fluidity on offense. its all ISO and bad shots smh. George Hill is Westbrook-lite, except far less talented. Something needs to be done. Vogel out, Shaw in

So, if the grizz beat the Knicks tomorrow after pretty much dominating the heat and thunder, what happens? And they have the 2nd hardest schedule through these first 8 games. Not to mention, they didn't drop the bomb on some non contending teams like the clippers did.

BTW, I think the Spurs are the best team in the league right now, then the Knicks, then the Clippers or Grizz. Depending on what happens with the Knicks tonight and tomorrow, things will change.

Becuase of that few people will care or consider it meaningful. It is an impressive start but after 8 games nothing is certain. I mean 8 games have passed for the Lakers and no ones really hitting the panic button over there. Theres too much time for things to swing around. Especially since the Grizz play in the hardest division in the league. No games can be taken off.

:lol Jamal is like "I'm gonna hit him with the SAME MOVE I GOT HIM WITH IN BOSTON. Gonna create some more space though, so no one says he tripped." :x

Thibodeau Values 'Trained Eye' Over Advanced Metrics

Tom Thibodeau uses advanced stats, but places more value in the trained eyes of his basketball staff.

“Stats are important,’’ Thibodeau said. “We’ve always used stats; they just weren’t called advanced metrics as far back as the ’90s. Now it’s taken on a whole different meaning. I think stats are important, but I also think the trained eye is more important, and usually the numbers will confirm what you’re thinking or make you look at something a little differently.’’

Thibodeau coached under Jeff Van Gundy with the New York Knicks and Houston Rockets.

“When I was in New York,’’ Thibodeau said, ‘‘Jeff Van Gundy was there, and he had been under Pat Riley. He always believed in stats. I’ve always thought it was an important part of the game.’’

trained eye >>> advanced metrics

Clippers look solid right now

If they can stay healthy and continue playing like this with Billups and Grant Hill added to the rotation...
