I think Spo did a lot, honestly. Went with countless small/big combinations (bringing Joel and Mike Miller in the rotation), setting up LBJ on the block when Hibbert was out and PG defending him, ran a bunch of screens with LBJ coming off the curl, ran PnR's closer to the paint to try and force Hibbert to move, etc. The issue is Miami doesn't have the personnel to deal with West/Hibbert. Spo will try out out different **** but there's only so much he can do when they don't have the bodies to bang around w/ those guys.BUT.. The main thing is we didnt make any real adjustments in this game compared to last game. Still sloppy. Still lacking energy. Pacers played harder. Their coach made more and better adjustments.
I'm not gonna lie, Indiana's surprised me w/ their play. In these two games, they've controlled the pace for most of the 96 minutes and have forced Miami to make adjustments to them. Pacers make a lot of dumb mistakes though and can't afford to have their perimeter guys go cold from the field like the Heat shooters.
Word. How about we give the winning team some credit after a good game???
Damn. **** about LeBron being a choker because he turned the ball over and Wade and blah blah... And I can't stand the guys. But I can appreciate what Indy's done these two games.
