I couldn't tell my 16 yr old self that Kobe could be back in court in 10 years, and you'll be on his side.

Dudes were worried that the Center position in the NBA was disappearing but we have some good ones coming along

Lopez
DMC
Drummond
Gasol
Hibbert
Noah
Kanter
Asik

:smokin

How could you forget Vucevic :smokin

good thing we're in the 2010's

yall " it was better way back when " dudes need to let it go.

this is the Era we're in now :lol

I just told you I was waiting for that superstar Center to show up, now, during this era. That'd be great for the game.

But you proved nothing with those names, they're alright but they not real.

That's the point.

If the Knicks lose this series, it'll be the biggest upset in the postseason. Even over Golden State Vs Denver.

They are the better squad top to bottom and have an unstoppable force in Melo.

I like the DMC comparison, he came into the league pretty developed offensively though. Drummond is a far better athlete, better than prime Yolo Bynum as well. Footwork and post moves are hard to develop but the work ethic seems to be there, I'm very hopeful.

Bynum before the surgeries was as athletic as drummond. All he did was catch lobs all day

Bosh is the new center. He is a better center than Lopez

The Cs lost.

What you still doin around?

I'm still pissed about that series. With Rondo and Sully, C's in 5.

Dipset: Well get ready for it.

Indy in 6 or 7. Almost a must-win tonight for Pacers, IMO.

Yeah I'm getting ready for this upset man.

old school big men are really overrated. Sure you had greats like dream, jabbar etc but the rest of the crop was pretty much on par with today's players.
Thats what I'm saying.

IF the Center was a issue, why didn't Shaq of 07-10 dominate?

Shaq was physically shot and out of shape by then.  I don't get your point.

I don't know that your average center was better back then (there were lots of great ones, though).  But certainly there was more back-to-the-basket play than there is now!  Grizz are the only team left in the playoffs that run a true inside-out game.

Not really.
'07 he had clearly started to decline and fought with Reilly about being out of shape all year...  '08 he goes to Phoenix and sucks, clearly doesn't have much left.  '09 he was on Cleveland- enough said- do you even remember that??  '10 he was useless on Boston.

You think he could have dominated till 2010?

If he was as great as yah make him and other 90s centers, he would have dominated the new age guys. He could still get his dunks in.

Jr Smith cursed himself, by dissing Jason Terry. Ever since that night, he has been unable to make any buckets.

No..  because like many centers, his body fell apart.  He could barely dunk by then.  Did you watch Shaq in the early 2000s????  Guy was ridiculous.  He was insanely, frustratingly dominant to watch.  Oh, and he also won 4 rings so I don't understand your "great as you make him" argument.  By what metric was Shaq not great?
