Drummond being proactive and learning while hes still developing instead of waiting 5-6 years into the league to develop a post game, nice
"Andre Drummond is going to be everything Dwight should have been"
So basically Drummond is going to average better than 23, 14 and 3 blocks a game in the prime of his career, win more than 3 Defensive Play of the Year awards, make more than 5 All-NBA and All-Defensive First Teams, make more than 10 All-Star teams when it's all said and done and win more than one Olympic Gold Medal as the starting center. Oh, okay.
If Drummond is ever the face of a franchise or even an All-Star I will be very, very suprised. Kid has all the athletic talent in the world, but is dumb as a rock.
Who was defending CP3 for the most part in the Clippers vs Memphis 1 round series?? Mike Conley or Tony Allen??

Just because you didn't see articles about Dwight working with Hakeem after his rookie season, doesn't mean he wasn't working hard each offseason.
Too many people assume unless there's a story attached to it, that players aren't trying to get better. Maybe.. all the work in the world wouldn't make Dwight more fluid or give him a better touch.
this.If i'm not mistaken wasn't Pat down there then?
So he was working with a top 10 big man everyday.
hes 19, lets see what happens.I feel drummond will never be a legit scoring threat on the block
He is already better than he was in college cause the nba game is different they have dudes creating easy buckets
But when the game slows down you see what his faults are, regardless he is playing above my expectations for him so far
I don't think that will happenwhat if he goes to san antonio antiThe disrespect to Paul PierceI always though that Pierce was going to retire as a CelticThose close to Paul Pierce believe he will not return to the Boston Celtics next season, according to CSNNE sideline reporter Greg Dickerson – and Pierce might think his days in green are done, as well
. "I don't think they will (bring Pierce back)," Dickerson said Sunday on CSNNE. "And I know that the company that Paul Pierce hangs around in, they do not believe – and I don't think Paul Pierce believes – that he is going to be brought back next year at $15 million. I know for a fact that people around Paul Pierce have pretty much resigned themselves to the fact that he's played his final game in a Boston Celtics uniform. Again, Paul wants to stay – obviously for $15 million, but he wants to finish his career in a Celtics uniform.
It's way too early for all of these predictionsDude is only 19, averaged 8 and 8 on 21 mins, thats a double double waiting to happen if he gets starter mins, hes also doing something dwight shouldve did and go work with hakeem early in his career"Andre Drummond is going to be everything Dwight should have been"

Time will tell tho
I do believe that and you could see the difference in his overall during his time with the MagicEwing was working with Dwight since 07 and was likely a big influence in Dwight becoming such a great defender.
Who was defending CP3 for the most part in the Clippers vs Memphis 1 round series?? Mike Conley or Tony Allen??
Oh boy. This has the potential to be another classic Buc Em post.If Drummond is ever the face of a franchise or even an All-Star I will be very, very suprised.
I recall this guy saying some outrageous stuff but what he said about Drummond isn't too unfair. He might be an All-Star some day but I would be surprised if he ever became a franchise guy. I wouldn't be surprised if he was never an All-Star despite his high production in limited minutes. Good season for him no doubt though.Oh boy. This has the potential to be another classic Buc Em post.
BUT WHO WAS LEBRONS # 2?This dude said Z = Perk
Illgauskas was averaging 14 and 9 and had that Bosh/KG midrange game on lock. People act like Bron had a bunch of bums for teammates on the Cavs but Z and Varejao was a very nice front court at the time, Mo Williams is still a starting point guard in this league, and Delonte West, JJ Hickson, Boobie Gibson, Anthony Parker, and Sczerbiak/Joe Smith/Antawn Jamison were all real solid role players.
The Thunder might have some great role players too but we'd never know since Scott Brooks only plays like 6 players a game. Look at what Reggie Jackson has done, and he was just warming the bench a couple months ago. There's no way you can tell me Perry Jones and Lamb couldn't give them a little help right now. It's ridiculous that Lamb has basically had a redshirt year when he was one of the most NBA-ready guys in this whole draft class.
Is that a personal judgement or a basketball IQ statement?"Andre Drummond is going to be everything Dwight should have been"

OKC is a much better team than those Cavalier teams. I don't see why its even up for discussion.
Stop comparing the players by how they playing in the series and compare them to how they are looked at overall. Ibaka just made the All Defensive 1st team, Martin was in the running for 6th man of the year, Durant is the 2nd best player in basketball, Perkins is considered a defensive juggernaut, Sefolosha is considered one of the best perimeter defenders in the league, etc etc etc.
Pondexter defended him more than TA did, I believe. TA was mainly guarding Billups and Crawford.
What the hell was he trying to do?
Correctly spell Memphis
Dudes are acting as if Dwight putting up 20 a game and being the biggest defensive force in the L when healthy is just magically done because he's 7 feet & athletic.... Dwight isn't a GREAT offensive option but he's damn sure more than serviceable.... But then again he's a Laker now so he's severely overated.
And while we're on the convo of one STAR taking a team full of role players to the finals let's not act like Dwight didn't take Rashard Lewis bumbass to the finals after he beat Lebron & had a better showing against an L.A team that had arguably the best bigman in the game that season and one of the Goats.
Hedo was pretty damn the year before and the year the Magic made the finals, same with Lewis.
