Somehow, the Los Angeles Lakers doubled down on the washed-up, banner-less legacy of the Phoenix Suns, and yet somehow they still wonder how everything could've unraveled this way

a lot of talk about Dwight's inefficiency from sports media and others
but is everyone going to ignore the fact that Steve Nash is playing like a bottom tier PG in the west?
dude is done man.
And mishaps that okc had down the stretch last night (perk/kd play on particular will hurt them in the playoffs.
they were lucky to even beat the spurs in last years WCF.
JHarden isn't there this time around to bail them out with step back threes (horrific shot by the way)
Bron just has to stop having selective memory regarding his ability to get to the rim any time he pleases.
Every time he has a chance to hit a game winner he settles for long jumpers and it is extremely aggravating despite his greatness.

I guess the good news for Laker fans is that they are only one game under .500 for what Dwight called their 'new season.'

KD reminds me so much of T-Mac in the early 2000's man.

Yup his handles have gotten nice. Vision too.

If okc plays the heat in th finals, do you think brooks is dumb enough to play Perkins over nick colinson?

I'm especially happy because when that guy arrived at WSU, he had two left feet, and hands that would make you think Kwame Brown was a point guard. He worked his butt off and is now being rewarded. Props to him.
I loved that WSU squad with Derrick Low and Kyle Weaver.

This has been my only qualm with KD this year.

You are not Lebron James bruh. Do what you do best.

Go out there get 30+ and 7-8 boards and finish. Son can shoot it from anywhere and when he gets bored with that take it to the basket with his handle. But this year he wants to be Bron. I understand yall boys and seeing him do what he does with a team is tempting, but that's not your game. This team is only gonna go as far Westbrook can figure things out at PG anyway. Let him do the playmaking.

Durant's shooting efficiency has been great this year. BUt his turnovers are too high. Along with Westbrook's ****ups no wonder they're 29th in the league in giveaways.
Damned if he do damned if he doesnt.

He doesn't pass enough...they say he can't be the best in the game because it ain't part of his game.

He passes too much...they say he wants to be Lebron

Yes, 40 minutes, even if Perkins is chronically injured like he was last playoffs (a torn groin and a wrist injury that would both require surgery). He did it on Christmas too and Perk proved his worth in such a matchup with 20% shooting and 4 turnovers. The Heat were just leaving him so open you have to pass him the ball and then laughing at him tricking off wide open layups. As much I want it to happen, he won't be traded.

We know that Dwight is emotional, he's soft, he's indecisive, etc.

But the dude never wanted to go to LA in the first place, he never wanted to play with Kobe. I don't know why so many are surprised if he does want to leave. I was calling this in August when he got traded - Dwightmare was not over.
