Official NBA 2005-2006 Season Predictions

to all of you getting all angry about people picking the nuggets and sixers:

i'd rather pick my team and be wrong than be a bandwagoner and be wrong. in the first case, i just have too much love for my team, while in the second case i look like a fool **cough** lakers 2 years ago **cough**

Quote:
Some of you need to realize that unless the rule was changed this year, the top 3 seeds go to the highest ranked team in the division.
good point. i completely neglected that.... but i'm too lazy to reconfigure my predictions (or ever to figure out if my top 3 seeds are from different divisions).

Some of y'all be doubting me
But I can do this in my sleep

Y'all are rediculous leaving the warriors out of the playoffs you know they are going to be AT LEAST 6th seed :{

Tim Duncan is on the decline. He put up career lows in ppg, rpg, and mpg last season. Dont expect those numbers to go up this season. People been too busy hating on Shaq in the east to notice this.

Sometime I wonder if you really know what you're talking about. Then after that quote you say his minutes are down because of his knee or whatever. You really have no clue. TD could put up big numbers the next three seasons if he wanted to or had to. The good thing is he doesn't have to. TD isn't like Iverson or someone that has to do everything and be out there all the time. All he needs to do is coast through the regular season and be ready for the playoffs. This a smart formula that Pop has started to use and it will let TD stay in the league longer than David Robinson did. I'm not sure why I'm even typing this, anyone that knows what they're talking about, knows that TD could dominate if he wanted too.

Some of you guys need to change your predictions because the top 3 seeds dont go by best record, but instead the division winners.

It appears as if only half the predictions have any chance of coming true, since a lot of people dont know who's in what division.

The thing abot Duncan's #'s going down is because the team didnt need him to do as much because of other people stepping it up, such as Ginobili, who was a strong candidate for Finals MVP.

EAST
1.IND
2.MIA
3.NJ
4.DET (will have a better record than NJ though)
5.CLE
6.CHI
7.WAS
8.PHI

WEST
1.SA (champion)
2.DEN
3.GS (hate on me if you want, it'll be close between them and SAC maybe 1 game or tie breaker or something)
4.HOU (better record than GS)
5.SEA (also better record than GS)
6.SAC
7.DAL
8.PHO (Amare gone for 2/3 of the season? That hurts)

Why do I see Warriors on the West list?

have you seen their begining schedule? they should have an outstanding start. they play all mediocre teams except for the spurs and the banged up suns.....
