It really doesn’t. But that’s their stick and what they’re known for, I get why they did that design language. It’s just not remotely appealing to me. Keep the ugly chunky Dad shoe aesthetic to your casual shoes that you do best.

I mean it could, but I have yet to see a design pop off. The materials used kind of kill it too. If they’re keeping the dad shoe look then they need the dad shoe materials. Once they use fuse it doesn’t look right

Well, they definitely use the ashy suede of their Dad shoe materials, similar to like the 9060 on the P350, but yeah you’re totally right, we are in agreement. It looks terrible on a basketball shoe. Leave the Dad shoes as Dad shoes, those aesthetic IMO doesn’t work for a basketball shoe. They look worse in person than they do in pictures.

Definitely but… it’s not a “max” feel. More like a kd16-17-18. It’s a really good overall shoe though - probably my favorite NB since the two wxy 3.

Sorry I haven’t really been able to keep up with the nba season. So Lenard has worn the 4s for 1.5-2 season? I’m guessing the he debuted the 5s during ALL-Star weekend. And they are being released in the summer? Anyways I like how the 5s look, especially top down/toe box view. Hope they release it in some classic nb cw like vintage sea salt.

yeah wore them in all star game and then back to the 4 since until last night he wore the blue pair again in game. Wish they would make a grey day pair again or traditional old school 990 vibe colorways
