Pedro in NY on the other side?
Interesting.

Talk about having something to prove to a team... He'll be pitching to prove the Mets wrong (imagine a Subway series with Petey starting for the Yanks?

)... And also pitching to show the Red Sox something too. (Imagine a Sawx-Yanks series with Pete pitching at Fenway FOR the Yanks?

Damn. I'm trying to figure out why the balls are flying out of here. Is there a difference in wind currents or something?

I think I just said the stupidest thing ever.

It **may** have to do with the open-air concourses and the open-air Great Hall that are both channeling air that makes routine pop ups into HRs.

That's been the problem with the Rangers stadium... The wind flow in the stadium combined with the big glass plates behind home plate (CuervoClub) creates a jet stream out to RF...

But I could care less.
# of wins we can secure with a Joba/Rivera combination >>> # of wins Joba can win or give us the win
Pretty much.
Nope.

I disagree with both points.

Thankfully the powers that be, the ones more intelligent then people like you.... IN the Yankees organization.... agree with ME
You're such a pretentious douche.

Move Joba to the pen, put Hughes back in the 5th spot and let him develop. It really doesn't matter who your starters are when your bullpen can't hold onto a lead. Word to the 2008 Mets.

Why? Because I'm right?

I'm pretty sure people that do baseball for their lives know more then people in this thread.

Plus....

#1 or #2 SP a few years down the road >>>>>> 8th inning man now

Closer that is shut down in 2 years when Mariano retires > being a #3 to Burnett CC and hell even a #4 to Wang if he ever gets his stuff back.

Good day to be from Cleveland. Indians smash the BUM yankees, and the Cavs smashed Detroit. Indians should be winning this series 3-0, but that home plate umpfrom yesterday decideed to digest the yankees manhood. Also, if you yankee fans think this team will make the playoffs, you are smoking a strand of trees thathasn't been discovered yet. I would however like to thank yall pitching staff for waking up our bats. Much obliged.

It's a good thing Matsui and Damon are gone after this year because they've looked very old so far this season. Posada has looked worse than usualbehind the plate and he's signed through 2011

Hughes is still in AAA after a rather disastrous attempt at being a big league pitcher last season. He wasn't ready.

We were straight debacled.
