Yeah I saw that.... thought they would have left him in for 1 out though....

But he had 24 pitches

Unbelievable though

What a bad %%@@*@$ homestand. Lost 5 in a row.

We are playing the O's this weekend. A-Rod is back. Maybe things will change? We can only hope

This team really is Bi-Polar....now that we lost 5 in a row...I bet we win like 4-6 games in a row soon...watch....its been that way alll year so far

this team is wack...same +*$@ as last year. they are really not showing me anything. just a streaky team. not a good one

Just don't even know what to say. I really thought this was theyear they'd get off to a quick start, but this season feels like a carbon copy of the last four. Now they'll go into Camden Yards and probably getslapped around and lose 2 of 3. Hard to be optimistic right now.

Props to Damon though.

Got back from the game 10-something minutes ago.

Molina out with a quad injury?!?! FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU--

When Mo gave up those two HRs back to back and belly to belly, it just KILLED the atmosphere...it was more quiet than a library and more somber than over 9000funerals.

We were all so hyped when Damon hit that HR...but then it all fell apart.

I wonder if George has a panic button he can press in his wheelchair. Things are SERIOUSLY spiraling out of control...

How about it's been like that the past couple of years..

Ugh.. I haven't been in this thread since Saturday.
Now being at a couple games.. IT REALLY REALLY REALLY feels like we're cursed or something.

We need to clean house. It starts with Girardi leaving. As a manager of superstar talent he's a joke.. To me there's no way a guy who was a bum(let's be honest) for his whole career can tell anyone what to do especially guys like Jeter & Jorge..

I feel like we'll be fine once A.Rod gets back though..
But my god Girardi's HORRIBLE bullpen management has to get better.
I mean.. why can't we bring back Joe Torre.

I think the only thing that right now can wake us up is George Steinbrenner himself coming down on them..
We're getting so bad right now that we're like the Yankees of Bucky Dent days..

I hope Alex comes back tomorrow on some $#%% the rest of the country swag..

He needs to get his LBJ on & do it for the city.. Hit like 90 HR's .. But with A.Rod & Tex we'll be fine if we don't have #1 in thedivision by All Star break I'll be shocked.. or atleast a game or 2 back.

Let's face it.. The Red Sox are our only challenge & I don't believe their offense at all. Blue Jays.. LOL & as far as Tampa goes well Idon't want to believe them..

i was at hooters tonight watching the game and when Damon hit the homer to tie the game i went crazy...then in a blink of an eye the Rays hit 2 hr and the gamewas over...whats wrong with Mo?

Joba in the pen will not solve anything if even Mo can't be good. We are just cursed.

I' d if your going to get someone get someone more experienced and respected. Let's be real. this is Joe's third year managing a team. Youcan't expect him to win the World Series in his third year of managing. That's why when he got the #27 on his back he just put a bulleye on his jersey. You have to get someone experienced like La Russa who doesn't have many stars but gets the best out of his team that are not Pujols. Willie i think isrespected and is a true Yankee, I wouldn't mind seeing him because he was a coach through the winning years we had but I'd say go for La Russa. Yankees are already struggling in attendance and now that they are losing they are also losing money. I wouldn't be surprised if they keep on losing theywe they are if a move is done in june and let Tony Pena manage until the end of the year or hire Willie.

We're not cursed, our team is just way too old and we have very little power in the line up. The bullpen is horrible and can't stay healthy.

The only players on the entire team who are in their prime are Teixiera (real slow start), A-Rod (injured) and Sabathia (slow start) and Burnett. Nady is toobut who knows if he'll be back this year. Everyone else is still on the come up or on the way out.

Jeter - on the decline
Damon - good year so far but only a matter of time til injuries get him again, on the decline
Posada - on the decline, injured
Matsui - been on the decline for a few years now
Mo - I was always worried he'd have a bad fall from grace because he only threw one pitch, I hope this isn't the year but it looks like it may be.
Pettitte - on the decline for a few years

Cano - starting to show signs, hopefully on the verge of entering his prime. Hughes and Joba have shown flashes but still have some ways to go.

Melky, Gardner, Pena, Molina will never be good enough to have primes. Swisher is what he his, sub .250 hitter with some pop.

Sabathia vs Guthrie tonight. Guthrie seems to give the Yanks problems...but the big story today is to see how A-ROD comes back. Everything is aligned perfectlyfor him to be a hero. Yanks are sub .500, no 3B presence, 5 game losing streak, he can be the man that turns it around. He can tell all the nay-sayers where tostick it with an amazing season. I have faith that he will put together a beast of a season and shut Selena Roberts and everyone else up. Lets do it!!!!!!!!!

I still Don't believe A-Rod will turn this sinking ship around. Did he do it last year or anytime in his big league years? It will have to take a Teameffort to turn this around. He will help the line-up but lets be honest we can't expect him to hit 10 home runs in this month, he didnt hardly play springtraining, so expect his timing to be off for the next week or so eventhough i hope he gets hot off starting tonight.

So now the Yankees lost Molina to the DL too. Wow, we are going to have an adventure at the catcher position.

Unless Brian Cashman can make an overnight trade, Kevin Cash and Chris Stewart are the catchers at Triple-A Scranton. I would think one of them will be summoned.
