A couple of weeks ago I posted about my 01 Kobe finals jersey that I am convinced someone stole from me. Recently I picked up a New Jersey and went to put it away and realized my Kobe was gone.I sold my house in sept/oct so had a lot of people through the house (open house, contractors,etc). I hadn’t bought any New Jersey’s in a while so I hadn’t really looked at or wore any of them lately (or at all during 2020) or noticed when packing. I never wore the Kobe and I know for a fact it was hung with all my other jerseys, which were packed directly into garment boxes for the move. At that time I was just trying to get everything packed, so I wasn’t really looking closely at what I was packing. There was really no other place the jersey could be besides with all my other jerseys, I would never fold it or store it anywhere but on a hanger. Nevertheless. I ripped my new house apart and nothing. So pissed off I came in here and posted about it.

Anyways. A few days later I get a pm. “What size are you?”. I responded with my size and the nter responded back and let me know if he had a double of that jersey he’s sending it to me. Sure enough he had a double, and sure as **** he sent it.

Wanted to share this story and let you all know there still a lot of good people in our little “community”. I appreciate the gesture so much, and honestly it’s probably my favorite jersey because of it.

For those curious, my teal Griffey showed up today and it's sewn correctly. Looks like it may have just been that one random one that was sewn low.
 
Mine came in a couple days ago as well. Stitched perfectly. Think that was a one off thing.
 
My wife and I just bought a new place and are planning to move at the end of the Summer. I'm looking to downsize my sneaker & M&N authentic shorts collection to make the move easier. Any recommendations on the best place to sell (Grailed, Mercari, eBay, etc.)? I'm not in a huge rush so would prefer not to go the Hardwood Fames route...

Trying to make some space in my closet. The amount of jerseys in my closet is stupid. I can’t figure out how to store them. I threw them all in a vacuum sealed bag but I gotta bad feeling about that so probably gonna take them out. Not sure how to store them. Did all this work and probably gonna have to just put them back in my ****in closet.

I'm posting this Kobe Bryant purple #8 jersey that I got recently in the spirit of the NBA All-Star Game.

I'm glad I finally got one which made me realize it was a good thing I never got an authentic Nike or Reebok version back then because they were made f'd up with the wrong layered stitching detail for the letters and numbers, and the overall cut of those retail jerseys were wrong too.

I also like how Mitchell & Ness replicated this one with the black band when the Lakers wore it that during the 1999-00 season to mourn Wilt Chamberlain. I even noticed there was more thickness on this version too.

Have you also noticed the lakers word mark and #8 are layered? And the BRYANT on the back as a few inches higher. Btw nice jersey

No, the Lakers script on front and #8 on both sides are kiss-cut as it should be. Only the Bryant name on back is layered.

In response to your prior post, I'm in the same boat with having a multitude of Jordan and Kobe jerseys myself. I never expected to have multiples of those jerseys, but I said f it because I was able to purge crap to get those, I basically came up on favorable scenarios. I also liked the idea of trying to match them with specific signature shoes from a purist standpoint.

Your "cookie cutter" label on them is accurate because they're basically the same jersey, the only differences is what the career theme is predicated on with each version.
