Official Mitchell and Ness Thread: Jerseys, Hats, Shirts, Shorts, Questions POST EM UP

The statement was in general. Doesn’t matter if it was Sak or not.
In general I agree, but with that Dude he be doing so much extra. You would think his life was on the line with how long he be contemplating on whether or not to purchase something :lol

You always say this and i've still yet to see a brand new size 40 Jordan go for under retail on ebay.
Gotta look, not saying it’s there all day

I mean I just posted basically a brand new one for $50 lol

I’m mad about that one

Nope

He was in the Jordan 1 thread for years begging someone to sell him Chicago’s for retail and when someone finally offered it up he fronted so yes I will count his motherfing pockets and call him out for the fraud that he is

You was frontin that’s what happened. And them pairs still Ds after all this time?? You a wild one :lol

LOL at the people saying $20 is not going to make or break a transaction...

I listed some M&N shorts on eBay for fairly cheap and the shorts were brand new with the tags, and this dude has the nerve to email me a lowball message for less than half of what I was listing it for.
I said helllllll nah you tripping, then he ups his offer to 75% of my asking price, I still say no but i was willing to work with him. I offer about 15% off of my already wayyyy below retail price and he's still fighting over $3. Three dollars. At this point i don't want to deal with this clown scumbag anymore and he keeps messaging me everyday to sell it for $3 less than my offer. I tell him I don't even want to sell it to you anymore and he gets all butt hurt.

End of story, I ended up selling the shorts rather quickly for the full asking price BIN. Eff these ebay low ballers smh...

Some people are just cheap. If it’s an item you’ve wanted for a while, and/or something that doesn’t go on sale often or hasn’t been listed for a while, it’s foolish to let chump change be a deal breaker and then complain about how you missed out afterward. That’s just indecisive broke boy behavior.

As for eBay and best offers. If the price is already a steal, I’ll just do the buy it now. I rather do that then drag things out to save a few bucks and lose the item in the process to someone else who just does the buy it now.

Yup word, great minds think alike

^ i agree ced... i was on the fence about copping my first pair of authentics shorts... always wanted them but didnt really need to put more charges on my card... but i was like watever these deals dont happen often so rather cop now then wait later when i have the money and no sale... nahmean

Personally if I want something badly. I’m not going to let a few bucks be the deal breaker. Especially if it’s rare or doesn’t get listed often.

Stuff which really isn’t a priority, I’ll haggle with no care if I miss out.

What’s funny though is I had a guy on eBay haggling for almost two months on a rev 30 kobe Authentic I was selling. Waste of time offer on top of waste of time offer. Ultimately he made more serious offers but a $15 difference was the deal breaker. Someone else eventually paid my buy it now price and he was crying about how I should’ve sold it to him and how he would’ve paid the $15 difference if he knew someone else was going to buy it lmao.

I totally agree. I see a lot of stuff that gets freshly listed that are legit steals and I don't beat around the bush, I buy it now.

In my situation selling, I don't even put the "or best offer" option and I always check off the "immediate payment required." So if someone wants to buy it, they'll buy it and they have to pay before they even officially buy it. BUT STILL there are eBay lowballers that'll message you insulting offers, then kick themselves when you say no and it gets sold to someone else. All over three dollars lol.

And I hate people who message me talking like they know me or types like a goon (dumbest ways of spelling words, using slang, or being offensive).

***And yes that fool was also crying and whining after the fact that it sold to someone else...smh

You just have to know how to offer on ebay, it's kind of a learned skill lol. People see the "or best offer" option, and think they getting it for the super low and try to get over, but be respectful with an offer. You have more leeway if the item is used but don't go crazy. Make an offer that's worth selling, people aren't trying to give stuff away. If that were the case, it wouldn't be listed.

When they cry and whine when it gets sold to someone else is the funniest to me. You had every opportunity to get an item you supposedly really wanted. In my case, the kobe rev 30 jersey was this guys grail.

My price was very fair. If it was something he really wanted, why let $15 cause him to lose out only to cry after the fact? I don’t get buyers like that.

I have one guy stalking my Jerry Stackhouse i have for sale. It's buy it now, no best offer. Doesn't stop him from constantly messaging about it. How's about if you want it just buy it? What a novel concept.

Off topic but its ebay related… I had to buy some ties for my cousins wedding I already got the suit just needed a tie to complete the outfit…I was indecisive so wanted to buy 2 ties from the same seller… they had 2 different listings up and shipping was 2 bucks each so it came out to 4…they were in NY and im in NJ so I figured it couldn’t cost much to ship and they will probably just throw it in a envelope… I asked the seller if I can cop both for 2 bucks shipping they said nah have to pay shipping twice… no problem didn’t message them back just kept it moving and ordered a tie from someone else lol

I don’t do business with guys like that cuz they’ll be super quick to file a claim over a thread sticking out :lol

That McAdoo is still tuff. Might have to go on a hunt....
i have a friend selling that Mcadoo in a size xl i think

Some people don't like to use credit to purchase items.

If there's a temporary cash shortage (i.e. paycheck is a few days away), credit cards cover that, even better if you get rewards on it. You pay the card off when you have the funds a few days later and there's no interest on it. I only use credit cards on ebay, or paypal through the card, as I get rewards and it gives another layer of buyer protection in case I have a bad seller.

I prefer not to use credit cards (until I really have to for a car or somthing along the lines). I just got paid today so I have $180 set aside for the jersey I wanted.
