It was 40 seconds from the reference track which was 90% hook and drake wrote the rest which was better bars its not like drake even hid it son is credited for it ..I'm not even a huge drake fan .. It's weird how so many dudes want him to not succeed

I'd say he took more like 70% of the hook (he added all of that "I been in the crib with the phoooonnees off, I been in the house taking noooo calls..." himself clearly), and a couple of lines from the first verse.

I wish Drake never found that ___ in the first place though, because "If You're Reading This..." has some of his most generic-sounding songs to date on it.

Time to step back and not look for new flows/cadences from other people and get back to what made him special (in my opinion, at least.)
