**Official Meek Mill Thread****Dreamchasers IV Out Now**

Nobody can tell me this isn't about Nicki.

Because it most likely is, dude deleted a bunch of photos with her around the time he started this chatty nonsense.

He admitted that he already "knew" Drake didn't write so why talk about it now?

****** forever tripping over ***** and the way Meek nose was open over her I wouldn't be surprised in the least.

If Nas was up there talking about Kelis' ex, it'd be just as corny/immature.

I'm speaking specifically on the act of using twitter to vent period. Also, I'm talking about his beef with Drake...I could care less about that other relationship nonsense.

I'm saying there's no difference in what Nas' did and a twitter rant. In both cases, someone is using a public forum to vent and bring awareness to things that the general public would not have known about otherwise.

I'm just saying its a by product of the generation.

I posted this in the Drake thread as well but....

For all the convo about Drake having ghostwriters, it raises an eyebrow to other major artists on these labels for me as well.... Particularly Kendrick Lamar and TPAB. Tito Lopez was doing a lot of work with Dre leading up to that project, then he suddenly disappeared from the face of the earth. And now.... he's back

Same with Pill who was once with MMG, I can't pinpoint an artist he might be working with but he's another case of an artist on a major label that just suddenly disappeared into the abyss.

It's the elephant in the room nobody wants to talk about but it happens alot

If we keep all keep it real I doubt any rapper has written 100% of their raps. Jay Z while he puts pen to pad has many lines that were written by other people. Just because he writes the lines himself doesn't make them his. It's a common business practice.

I think this is about Nicki and also about Meek thinking he deserves the same respect as Drake.

Drake on Amen helped Meek grow his popularity alot. I think Meek needed that feature more than Drake did.

This **** even funnier because who would let a dude get a verse on they album that they thought was dissing them?

He was that hungry for a Drake look and he gonna wait till after to be mad about it.

Tracks are e-mailed. Drake probably e-mailed it back and he listened and he probably asked Drake about it. At least I hope so.

This thread is great.

- Full of excuses.

- People that were riding for Meek two weeks ago have now gone 180 and are pissed that anyone is going after Drake.

- Can't say you're the best in the game and not write your own ****. Drake has never been great to me lyrically anyway but having people write for him takes him out of any category people had him in. R

Carry on ladies and gentlemen.

I'm saying. I've realized people give their opinions based on what "team" they're on.

i just wanna know whats so hard about just calling drake asking him if its true

we didnt see diddy go on a twitter rant about drake stealing his song, its deeper than rap

Different eras

He didn't tweet about it, he confronted him directly

I can see Kendrick getting ideas from soul, rock and q but I'm sure he write his own stuff

You're not really in hear making excuses for a rappers not writing hisnown raps are you?

That is a cardinal sin in rap in its most classic essence.

:lol What

Two entirely different things.

Some of these excuses some of you are giving are wild.

People respect a radio interview over twitter as a platform to vent a lot more as a platform. Not saying whether it's right or wrong, but putting personal business out into the universe on twitter is looked at differently than a verbal rant on the radio.

There is no real difference other than the fact that you could actually hear Nas.

****** in here saying Meek is "snitching" are really exposing themselves..Like him or not, you can tell he a real *****. It would be hard to fake it coming from a place like Philly.

And what pics did he delete? I still see pics of him and Nicki all on his page..Yall the ones sounding chatty right now.

So Jay Z isn't a good rapper? Ever heard Marcyville? He has a whole 2 bars that's all Brad Jordan.

Point is everyone gets help at some point along the way. I've made music, been in the studio and ask a homie for help on a line here or there. Does that make me fraud?

Do you really believe Drake writes nothing at all? It's all been someone else? Come on man.

He was posting pics of her everyday almost . He deleted ones back like 3-4 weeks

Dude comparing using bars from known rappers songs to having somebody write a verse for you like thats the same thing :rollin

Boys gonna compare it to sampling next watch.

being from philly dont mean you was out in the streets getting it like meek claim he was

I can't fathom how ****** are co-signing ghostwriting. This is incredible.

Of course it is.

I'm sure plenty of ppl in the industry know each others secrets so why would Meek target Drake? The man who has been on a few of your songs. Plus right before and during that he's still talking about Safaree. If you got the girl why you talking about her ex?

I got no issue with ghostwriting as long as you're honest.

Saying you're the best when you're actually spitting something someone else wrote for you is above and beyond corny, though.

This new generation of rap, other than a few guys, is wild corny and fake anyway...Drake and Meek both included.

Simple minds miss the point. At what point do you draw the line? If it's not your own words and thoughts on paper it's someone else's regardless of where it's from.

I bet a lot of young dudes don't know what Brad Jordan song the Marcyville lyrics are even from. They just know Jay said it. Other rappers such as Nas, Camron and Prodigy have gone at Jay for stealing raps.

This is all about a bunch of dudes who don't like Drake running with this as a attempt to clown and discredit. All i'm saying is Meek is actually the weak party in all this.

Exactly lol Drake was out there wearing a "Free Meek Mill" shirt at a concert but Meek wants to talk about how he didn't tweet his album :lol

Its deeper than rap definitely

Imma make it clear, I don't respect any rapper getting verses written for them especially a ***** like Drake who's the top rapper in the game.

My issue is that Meek was all on his **** being a frienemy and using Drake to help his career then trying to expose dude.

That's 100% **** boy behavior regardless of whether its true or not. ****** bringing up Nas but did Nas try to slander other dudes that helped his career and he was quoting/featuring on his albums and singles?

Na, that's not standup behavior no matter how you cut it.

If it was really that important to Meek, he woulda been 100 the whole way, instead he wanted to play rap friends and now he's in his feelings.
