I really don't care. I'm 31. I don't take time to think when a song comes on of its ok to jam to it because the artist may not be real. I don't do a background check on every new artist to see if it's cool to listen to them.

Some of my favorite rappers are Pac, Biggie, Face ect. Kendrick is my current favorite. Not because they write their own raps but because they put out the best rap music. I don't know Kendrick personally and never saw him write one song. I don't need to either. Doesn't matter.

Dudes are really missing the real cowardly act in all of this. Meek only tweeted that because Drake didn't tweet about his album. Meek knew before yesterday that Drake didn't write his own raps. He didn't say anything about it until Drake didn't give him social media shine by tweeting about his album.

Had Drake tweeted about his album Meek would have never done this. Now Meek wants to come off as some rap hero for exposing a fraud? An you dudes are consigning it. Smh

I'm 27 years old myself and it is absurd how folks worship he and Drake. Like some above me said, seperate personal life from the music. "Fan-atics" take it personal because, they are just as insecure as their favorite artist. I have no horse in this race but, for a guy who always mentions his money, jewels, cars, etc. He cries so much. He hides behind material posessions because, he is hollow.

Meek is that guy who got his first pair of nice sneakers, when he was 21 years old. He was already behind the eightball, trying to play catch up. He and Drake are a prime juxtaposition of suburbanite vs hoodlum combat.

Drake definitely has ghostwriters. That's why he always hops on remixes. Nickelus F probably wrote for him too. In 06, he was Phonte of Little Brother, in 09 He was Z-Ro from Houston, now he is Trap inspired. He has to own up to the 'flauging. Especially when you're creating products that people pay for. They allow you to eat. They feed your false ego.

Meek is awful though. Philidelphia has a rich music history. Not just in hip hop. Meek repping the streets but in the longrun, the streets never care about anyone. Street dudes don't have a conscious. Just like chairmans of the board. They have no conscious either.

Wale tweeted about Meeks upcoming album like 2 weeks before the Release date. Meek then gets an official release date 2 weeks later and posts his album. Not even 24hrs after the release date was announced, and meek goes at Wale for not tweeting out his album again immediately.

Like damn, everybody ain't on social media 24/7 like you.

You can't be serious.

Everyone is well aware that Dr. Dre is a producer first / rapper second that doesn't write his own raps. Plenty of producer/rappers have always done this.

The two situations aren't remotely similar. Nobody listens to a Dr. dre song for Dr. dre bars

My point is the music being good is all that should matter. I've never brought a Drake album but he's had verses and moments where he's killed it. Him being exposed doesn't change my opinion. He wasn't the best in my eyes to begin with.

Of course, same with The Chronic in 1993. Dre delays these albums because has no one to ghostwrite for him anymore. Detox is not being "pushed" back. A person with common sense, knows Dr. Dre needs someone to pen it for him. For the right price, Dre would pay some heavyweights or newer cats to write it. Damn near all hip hop songs are based off samples and drum kits they borrowed. "Producers" been getting away with highway robbery since it's inception.

The only thing I care about in this situation is how Meek can say he's telling the truth about another man when he was willing to use to get ahead.

This same dude that meek is supposedly airing out is on both of his albums and also on Meeks largest radio hit.

If you don't like Drake or feel someway about him now that's one thing but Meek just went from a half decent rapper, to a sensitive human being that'll kick those that are perceived as weaker than him to get ahead.
