**Official Meek Mill Thread****Dreamchasers IV Out Now**

I haven't listened to a Meek project since High School when he was dropping Flamers mixtapes. With me growing up in Philly, dude got boring to me when he got signed. But I'm feeling this new album. That track with Future is the business.

Meek Mill’s sophomore album Dreams Worth More Than Money finally was released on Monday & shortly after that Meek sat down with Revolt TV to discuss the project. Amongst other things, Meek was asked if the tracks he previewed on instagram a few months ago would ever surface, to which he confirmed he DOES have plans to release them.

Meek Mill is in full promo mode for his new album Dreams Worth More Than Money and today he stopped by Power 105 to chop it up on all things life, love and music with the Voice of New York, Angie Martinez. Meek sounds more clear-headed than ever, revealing his overall mission statement is to keep hoods like his own inspired and focused on the right goals. Indeed, the majority of the interview is a sobering discussion on street mentality, police brutality (Meek recalls running into a cop who once assaulted him and stuck him with false charges), and the rampant funny behavior that pervades the industry (he says Dame Dash is often more right than people give him credit for).

But the best part is when he straight up admits that most of his contemporaries—including the likes of Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole—don't do much for him. "Keep it real, I don't even listen to nobody—I listen to Future. Future, Dej Loaf, Young Thug, of course the OGs like Jay Z." He gives his "Jump Out the Face" collaborator another shoutout before conceding that he's "feeling Drake's last CD" but as for Cole and Kendrick "They're dope lyricists, great rappers...but they don't inspire me. They don't seem like they're talking to me. And that ain't no hate." That's a refreshingly candid response considering how reluctant rappers are to give their true opinion these days.

Also, of course Angie's not going to let Meek go without a flurry of OMeeka questions. They're not engaged yet, but it's definitely something he sees in the future, re-iterating that she is indeed his Dream Girl. He also reveals they have friendly debates, or, as he refers to it "World War III," in the studio often. Apparently Nicki pushed him to make a radio song like "All Eyes on You;" he'd rather stick to the style of their previous collabs like "Dope Dealer." But of course, Nicki usually always wins.

Meek not feeling Cole or Kendrick, but praises Dej Loaf, Young Thug & Future? :x :{

I remember Kendrick ******* on Meek a while back. :lol

Not surprising he ain't listening to him.

Angie needed to ask him where Contagious with Migos is but she wanna have beauty salon talk about Nicki.

Meek clearly stated he never disliked Cole or K.dot music he just said he dont listen to them because they dont inspire him with what they are rapping about.

He said he came up on jeezy, nas, hov ect

meek also said that Nicki was the one who told him to put these love songs on the album, he wanted to give us all street ****

Meek confirmed to have a Future-esque run if it falls through with Nicki.

Nice to know he was tryna go for harder tracks.

After the 2nd listen this album got worse to me. The Intro is hard, then it goes to that weak song with Swizz. Then it comes back with that banger with Future, then that corny **** with Nicki and Chris Brown. **** all over the place. His first joint started HARD with Dreams And Nightmares, In God We Trust and Traumatized then it got shaky. This one started shaky but it ended good with Stand Up and Cold Hearted. Dude is tryna balance some commercial songs with street songs and it don't work. Meek is not a radio friendly type of rapper. JUST MAKE THE STREET **** _. Ambitionz and Cold Hearted. Stick to those type of songs.

still don't understand why Off The Corner ain't on here, one of my favorite Meek joints, needed a new third verse.

I forgot about that joint. Shoulda been on there.

Gave the album a few spins, it's alright. Wasn't really expecting anything spectacular from Meek so I can't be disappointed here.
Album has a few great bangers that'll definitely stay in rotation for the gym or to hype me up (Jump Out The Face, I Got The Juice) but that's about it. I won't be listening to the full album much but I wouldn't mind it if I did. The only track I'd really skip is that god awful song with Swizz Beats

Only track I like is with Future and that's because of Future. Same ol boring flow and still talking about the same **** since 2012.

The bear to jump out the face reminds me of that one rock song "where your head at"

pretty good interview, he seems like he wised up and matured as a person. wish most of his music could reflect that.

They're spreading rumors that he got Nicki pregnant. Trying desperately to make this album take off

**** was aight.

Angie is a terrible interviewer, ask the ***** some legit questions about his music man.

I could give a damn about his relationship, he just dropped a new album.

Smh he let nicki talk him out of dropping all street music, I knew it but that's disappointing to hear him say it

Sucka *****. He need her at this point tho, to keep his buzz alive. Rap fans moved on to the next thing when he dropped that tape. Give us the rest of the street records **** wit fake butt talking about.
