Are clearance stores cheaper than factory Nike stores ? They are opening one soon near me.

I've only been to a clearance store a few times
I would say shoes are about the same price,maybe a tad bit less
But I think clothes are a little cheaper
From what I noticed clearance stores usually have older shoes in my experience
I never find anything good I want at a clearance store(air jordans)
When you go always ask an employee if they have anything specific you are looking for in the back
"You got any retro jordans in a size xx in the back?"
Never hurts and sometimes they will bring out something good

Yeah I would say so... plus they gt random stuff most of the time as opposed to regular outlet that normally have a full sz run....

Way cheaper IMO. Found the Letterman 1's at a Clearance store for $69 plus 30% off, at a regular factory outlet the lowest I saw was $99 consistently. Apparel is always cheaper too, found Tech fleece for $19.

Clearance stores prices are generally dirt cheap compared to Nike Factory stores/Outlets. Their shoe section is just an entire hash wall of shoes. The stuff they get is random, and it all depends the time of day when you go there and if you have any connections with workers who can find stuff in the back. During F&F sales, usually entire store is 20% off, plus 30% F&F so it's essentially 44% off everything. Best place to get cheap clothes and shoes, compared to regular Nike Factory stores.
That being said, they are a breeding ground for resellers who will be there each and everyday, purchasing volumes of stuff to put on ebay.

One time I went to the clearance store and saw some dude walk out with like 4 huge bags filled to the top

maybe this is old news, but apparently nike outlet and clearance stores are no longer accepting phone orders. anyone know a workaround for this when wanting to cop from an out of state outlet?

Solid update...Repped. Couldn't make out that price on the Size 11 Royal 4s. Is that 129 like the bigger size?

Oh yeah i was talking to an employee. He said during F&F, it was the first time they got to use it at Niketown SF and it was 50% off. They got buy 1 get 1 retros.

I heard you can request for a manager and ask to pay with a gift card instead of a credit card since they stopped doing only phone orders because of chip cards. It's under the managers discretion but if they approve ask for the grand total with shipping and their name, then tell them you will call back after you purchase a gift card online. Go through Nike.com to get your gift card and once you get it call back and ask to speak to *insert managers name here* and give them your details.
Again this is under managers discretion so don't expect it to work everytime.

Where did you "hear" this? Was it perhaps from this exact forum? Because that is old news, they no longer do phone orders at all. There is no secret workaround. So unless you've made an order yourself using that method then stop spreading misinformation.

I wonder how well the No Phone Orders policy has worked for Nike. I personally have purchased less Nike shoes since this policy has been in place. I used to order at least 1-2 pairs every two-three months from an outlet.

I called San Leandro back when they were transitioning between the chips and no-chips, and some outlets accepted phone orders while others didn't. I called them a couple weeks after they stopped to try and phone order. The guy on the phone said that they definitely were selling less merchandise on a daily basis because of no phone orders. So... in my nonscientific, low sample size research, they have lost business. Its probably not enough though to really make much of a difference though.

No need to be a about it. I'm just trying to spread some knowledge. Just because it doesn't work for you doesn't mean it's misinformation. I've seen multiple videos where people successfully ordered through the phone with this method. It may work for some and not for others. Like I said under managers discretion.

I can tell you off hand the new orleans, gonzalez, and gulfport outlets haven't sold as much because of the no-phone order policy. I talked to a couple workers I know there and they are telling me they aren't selling as much merchandise as they used to. They didn't say how siginificant those low sales are though.
