OFFICIAL LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS 2024-2025 SEASON THREAD

I respect him not getting over it. Especially since I’m sure he also viewed him how we viewed him - the player that turned the framchise around. In the end, the FO was proven right in trading him but it still sucked having him go.

Really sad that his career was cut short. Hope we honor him sometime soon. Would be dope if he’s at the first game at intuit

so afternoon game it is

Just read that Kawhi is getting injections to the knee to help. Not sure if that means it is a good sign that he will be ready to play game 1 or if that news means his knee is worse than expected and needs injections. SMH!

will find out on sunday.
man we really have bad luck entering the playoffs if its bad bad.

uno better bring it

thinking of going on sunday

i just hope ty doesnt match up the small ball

zu still beasting out there

ref giving calls to whiny luka and swallowing the whistle when its harden or pg getting abused out there

definitely ALL Hands.

we still expecting a run from dallas to make it close

Offense getting real stagnant and predictable. Counting on hero shots dropping.

One W down. I’ll take it.

But did not love the way we played in the 4th quarter. Hopefully, we’ll get back to cleaner, more efficient ball to start Game 2.

id say that was a good solid win, couldve done without the shenanigans and want to see this team put 48min together without making us worried

but also, now we know what the team is capable of and got to deliver a series win even without kawhi

zu the mvp, he is just too strong for the mavs so ty got to keep running things through him

i’m gonna count this as 48 min of good basketball. We got worrier because of our PTSD but I don’t think the leas was ever under 10 pts. That flagrant + tech on zue was harsh.

that is true but when the lead was 29 and goes down 12 with 4-5 min left, then it does get worrisome

i guess i just wanted continued dominance in the second half and not give the mavs any confidence moving forward

Yeah, I definitely felt like a tech and a flagrant for Zu on that play was excessive. Kleber had Zu's arm locked up in a pretty uncomfortable position behind his back; I would have been pissed too if I was Zu. Since Kleber's hold precipitated what Zu did, I thought he'd just get a tech. Oh well.
