yep the references are pretty easy to get
Houston we have problem are famous lines for Nasa they launch the shuttle in Orlando/Kennedy space center and control it and watch it in the room with all the specialist in Houston if im not mistaking thats why the people in the Shuttle/Rocket say "Houston we have a problem" so they can control it and fix the problem
here are reason for the color choices and you can kinda get the idea

its in Houston
Orlando (Nasa where the shuttle takes off)
Houston (Nasa where the shuttle lands)
thats why we gettin 2 galaxy themes

Not meaning to be rude in any way, but actually the shuttle lands at Edwards Air Force base which is in Nevada. As a houstonian, there really wasn't anything else to do for the theme of the shoes lol... H-Towns pretty boring :rolleyes

Picked up a used pair of Pressures for a bill. A gash on the midsole and a scratch on the swoosh I could deal with for that price. Now gotta find black light and see how it looks like haha. Saw Lavas in person, not bad but could be better.

Prior to liftoff missions are controlled from the Launch Control Center (LCC) located at NASA's Kennedy Space Center on Merritt Island, Florida.[1] Responsibility for the booster and spacecraft remains with the LCC until the booster has cleared the launch tower, when responsibility is handed over to the NASA's Mission Control Center (MCC-H), at the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center, in Houston. The MCC also manages the U.S. portions of the International Space Station (ISS).

Houston is where NASA's mission control center is after the spacecraft takes off from Florida. That's why you hear phrases like "Mission Control, we have lift off", and "Houston, we've had a problem" is from the astronauts talking to mission control while they're in space.

Could definitely see them doing Galaxy 2 this year now, seeing as Orlando was "lift off", and Houston is continuing that, just like it is for real space missions.

Allstar game is in New Orleans next year so is the theme next year going to a celebration for completing the missions?
And I called the galaxy theme repeat last year in the lebron 9 thread but I doubt any of yall read it

Lol probably a maradi gras theme.....I can only image what those CWs are gonna look like. Either really good or really ugly.

you can chalk this up

it will be Mardi Gras or something to do with music (jazz)

i can see the colors being green, purple, gold, white, & black

I saw the lavas in person, not my cup of tea I think the photos look better. Peeped out the jades again I like the detailing but not a buyer at full price.

Corks and Ring Nights are really nice. I will probably not get my hands on either, but they are both great looking X's.

I hope they do something crazy this year with the bhm's. More gold an black with Xs , just a thought ...
