Na, man, we'll be jamming just like everybody else.
Just because someone isn't the same color as you doesn't mean that they're unable to sympathize w/ you or your situation.
Are you aware of how many white people listen to Dead Prez?
Yes i'm aware that white people listen to Dead Prez i'm also very aware that the crowd that is attending Kendrick shows isnt exactly the same as dead prez fans and two it was never questioned that people of all colors will still like the song...
The question remains is anyone who isn't black listening to Blacker The Berry and saying yea this material was made with me in mind..
And too your point of "Sympathizing" that alone shows a portion of the attitude that upsets people when discussing race with other races. Especially on NT.
One who the hell said that kendrick or black people in general are looking for sympathy, we are demanding to be treated fairly i don't give a **** about anyone's sympathy if it comes with no action.
Two STOP THINKING THAT JUST BECAUSE YOU KNOW ABOUT A SITUATION AND HAVE "SYMPATHY" THAT SOMEHOW EVERYTHING HE'S TALKING ABOUT IS RELATABLE.
I know what happened in Katrina, I know that it was ****** up but i never experienced first hand how thoese people felt during that period, i could do as much studying, as many interviews possible.... I Will NEVER be able to fully relate to those people.
When he says "You hate my people, your plan is to terminate my culture" i dont want to sit here and say a person of another race telling me how relatable it is to them because you being a non black man in America never truly felt the feeling of corporations completely trying to destro your character and any of your culture.
