**Official Kendrick Lamar Thread 4th Studio Album ''DAMN.''Out Now**

Goodness this is siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick. AM to the PM, PM to the AM funk!!!!!!!!!

Those extra album theories are cool but I don't wanna get my hopes up.
The quality of this is soo good he don't need one... But... Kdot is a student of
The game and he knows alot of the greats had a double LP at a point ao dropping
Another disc might in his mind, cross off the benchmark for legendary status.
Plus what the hell does Mr. 1-5 mean anyway? Best first 5 albums????.......
Not expecting it but it would be nice (must contains blatant frizzy slander tho)

Man y'all got me hyped to hear this.

Hopefully I'm not disappointed.

Is it just me or is he subtly mocking Drake and his style on YAH and ELEMENT? [emoji]129300[/emoji]8o
Didn't heat it in YAH., will listen for it on the next listen. First verse of ELEMENT. sounds like Big Sean. Also sounds like Tiller on LOYALTY. and Uzi on the chorus of GOD.

Fear into God into Duckworth is :x :x :x best stretch of the album.

I absolutely will not argue with anyone who either has this guy as the GOAT or in the top 3/5. Unfathomable what he's doing right now. Dude is on another level from everyone else in the game. Such a breath of fresh air. Thoughtful artistry with actual purpose/meaning. This man is the epitome of a lyrical genius. He doesn't parade around saying it, looking for acceptance from others. He just does it.

Kendrick is creeping up into my top spot. I never thought anybody would overtake Hov but...It's happening.

For a while, I thought Lupe had next. But man...what Kendrick is doing is the rap equivalent of a 4-peat in the NBA.

I think Lupe is better, he just doesn't make music I want to listen to but he can rap and write rhymes better IMO. I prefer to hear Kendrick though.

Kendrick in my top 5 now OAT Srs.
4 to be exact.
If that dbl disc is tru and its fire like it will be. May move to 3

This album might be a masterpiece.

I don't want to speak too soon, and it's way too soon...but wow.

Could be that the overarching tone of the album (inner conflict, finding yourself) really speaks to me at this time of my life, but this might be my favorite Kendrick album.

I know, I should sit with it. I hate when people speak too soon...but this is...different.

BRUH
I did a triple take at my phone when I heard this this morning.

I'm starting to believe this could be a double album. The ending of the album would be the perfect start to the next album.

If you listen closely, the album runs back quickly in reverse at the end.

'...So I was taking a walk the other day...'

8o
You could play the album in reverse order and it would flow just as well

There's a story to it

Wasn't sure what that Rihanna track would sound like but, damn....not what I expected at all. And I mean that in a good way.

Duckworth... :eek :Nthat [emoji]128293[/emoji][emoji]128293[/emoji][emoji]128293[/emoji]

I just cannot stop listening to DNA. the beat switch gets me every time. This may be my favorite Kendrick song... The way he spazzed is just :{ :{ :{

When he says there's a difference between a black artist and a wack artist, anyone else think he's talking to Drake?

Yeah. But I feel like a lot of what he says is going at Drake, so I'm not the best judge. :lol

Feel the same way. For everything going on in the world it's an honest reflection that doesn't sound preachy. All while maintaining a level of introspection that's genuine.

I said it earlier and will again, the way that line drops and then the slowed down outro, that IS a Drake diss!!

Got all the way up to feel so far.. First thoughts are, this album is different :lol

Blood caught me off guard with the ending, YAH I was rocking with until halfway thru, then he lost me.

There's definitely some shots at Drake in here, off the early.

The way y'all talking, the album picks up after feel, so I'm about to find out.
