I hope the ext's sit and go on sale, but I know they wont.  

I would give maybe $150 for them.  they are NOT a $200 shoe just because they have a gum bottom and some leather.

I think the model is good and there have been some good CWs but the market is just flooded with product. Also KD not wearing the 7s hurts them just like lebrons situation with the 11s

Not exactly a good point though when you consider the Lebron 11's are actually Lebron's highest selling shoe even though he barley wore them. To be honest you never really see most basketball hottest selling sneakers actually worn by them on the court when you think about it.

I tried to see if I could cop locally with the military but it was close to 2 p.m. and folks came and got pairs early. Gotta say they look better than the Jordans from last week.

And honestly, I can't ever complain about Colorways on a KD shoe. I loved at least a few color ways from each of the last few models. On this model, I like the USA, Bad Apples, GG, GM, Black Suede and 35K. I think the Purple joints are cool. And the Aways, Easy Money, etc are decent.

The quality on these are amazing so much so that 200 doesnt seem all that crazy. The leather on the shoe is very very nice.

They're making less limited sneakers than they used to with the signature lines.

the suede ext can't be bought with a discount for 30 days because it is a quickstrike shoe? can anyone confirm this?

It all depends on the store's policy really.

I went to HOH last week and bought the Black Gum 1s. They wouldn't let me use my military. A week or two before this thirsty broad was there and was ooping the military discount on the Gold Medals. It's always a crap shoot except when you're dealing with the computer system (ie FTL and Co online, NDC don't count with them dirty promo codes).
