The lebron xii as a whole sig shoe looks terrible to begin with. Looks like a melted zoom generation 1 with a simon game board for an outsole

You can speculate as much as you want, because there is obviously a reason he is still wearing the VIs. And your guess is as good as any. I was ridiculed somewhat at the notion, that the injury itself may have been caused by wearing the 7's. It seems ludicrous....but a "Jones fracture" is an injury caused by the foot itself rolling inside the shoe, when cutting/planting. Once again it would be a huge marketing nightmare, for one of Nike's flagship athletes not wear his "trademark" shoe. But at the end of the day..He is going to wear whatever he feels most comfortable with...and whatever helps his team win. So, there is something more to it than him just preferring the VI's.Pure speculation from me , but I wonder if the strap in the 7 is a bother for KD , especially after the broken foot
Bound to happen. If you own any hyper revs they do this too. Not like this but they get ripped up closer to the sides of the toes.Is this common? Another guy I've played a few pick-up games with had the same thing happening to his GGs. Same area too. Wasn't as big but was definitely on its way to being fully blown out like these.
LOL.. my pair is now your pair.
LeBron game-time decision apparently!

My next guess/speculation, is that this also has something to do with the early previews we've seen of the the supposed "ELITE" series, looks to be sans velcro strap.
You would think that with the Christmas game coming up, that he would wear the VII new Christmas shoe...but we wont know til tip off. I hope he rolls out something nice tonight for KD vs. Lebron in OKC.
