I'm going to be visiting Las Vegas in a week. I noticed that they have a north Vegas Nike outlet and a south Vegas Nike outlet. Which one usually carries better stuff or basketball gear? I recall from a thread last year that one of the outlets is catered towards runners and the other one has more "heat". Thanks NT fam!

Locals may want to chime in if I'm wrong but the many times that I have stopped at Vegas the south is cheaper and better heat. The north one is usually priced higher as I think there is a shuttle or some easy public transit to getting there from the strip vs the south.

However I have found good deals at either outlets, depends on the timing. Also I think the Ross / Marshals on the strip is pretty good too.

Yea, we were planning on looking at all the Marshalls/Ross in Vegas to see if there were any new basketball shoes on sale. My friends were planning a trip to North outlet, so I will just see what they have.

Hey Vegas local over here. I wish I had seen this earlier as I was at the Vegas south outlets last Thursday. From what I recall, there wasn’t much there. The only thing I really remember are seeing a FSR of black/white mariah’s for $59.99, $11.99 Nike heritage hats, and some PG1s and handful of navy vapormax’s on the hashwall.

However, to answer your question. I would have to agree that South > North. North is usually priced much higher, offers less discounts, and offers more GSW gear (compared to the South Outlets). Being a local, I don’t think I’ve ever bought anything from the north outlets. As far as basketball gear, ive always found something basketball related at the south outlets whether it be apparel or shoes.

To confirm, the north outlets are higher priced, offer less discounts, geared toward tourists, and have more running/athleisure gear. If you’re at the south outlets, I would recommend stopping by the Eastern outlet, too. It’s 5-10 min drive away depending on how fast you drive and if you have a car. Also, if you don’t find something there, they have a marshall’s Right next door which has some finds as well (just got some cole haan grandvolutions for $70).

I’ll also chime in and say that this is almost exactly my experience as well. Only difference for me is I have found some things at the north outlet as someone who buys mostly hoops gear and a bit of running gear. The outlets will match prices between one another if requested, in the case that they both have something at different prices but only one location has your size. I mentioned in these threads some time ago, and it echoes irate_ninja:

“South is the OG outlet in town, and seems to be run the best overall. North seems to be mostly tourist bait, as their prices are not great. The only way the north outlet stands out is if something higher ticket shows up, they are usually the place that will get it. Doernbecher, Jordan $400 models, nikelabs, HTM, Gyakousou, ACG gear....that type of thing. Not a hard and fast rule, but I walk out of there emptyhanded more often than not. South almost always has something for me. Henderson outlet has some occasional steals and great clearance racks too.”

Check your Ross stores. There are huge Nike shipments that went out earlier this week and should be arriving today or end of the week. Kobe 11's, KD 9's, PG 1's, Hyperdunk 2016's, and Hyper Rev 2016's are the main ones in this shipment. Most of the Kobe's are the team bank type styles while the others are mostly GR's. Kobe's, Hyperdunks, and Hyper Rev's should be $50, KD's and PG's should be $55, but that could vary.

This is a bigger shipment than last month's but is only at Ross, not Marshall's or TJ Maxx.
