I didn’t really pay much attention to these initially but I ended up copping them at Nike Bay Plaza last weekend. Paid about $148 total after 20% hash discount and some other random discount that was on my Nike Pass.

I see what they did. They remade the gimmick “flu games” and pre aged the ashy leather and felt that they use. If you like them cool, but if you are given a great Jordan model, I’d expect more.

Another one from the bygone era of football played on AstroTurf where players wore basketball sneakers on it with this one. I can clearly recall Randy Moss wearing the XI & XIII regarding retros in cleat form when he was with Jordan Brand, but I truly never knew he wore a custom XII until I saw this one. It's interesting that these XII he wore had quite noticeable teaks/revisions on them, like the two upper eyelets not being in the traditional metal that's common on that model. And the soles have been seriously tweaked with a black part integrated on it.
Speaking of Moss wearing custom retros, the XI he wore were his best ones. I still keep wishing they released a pair of those for retail.

Hmm found a pair of used 09 Cherry's for a decent price and condition. Think theyll still be fine to wear? I know 12s dont have that time of midsole to crumble but it wont seperate or anything right? The red looks a tad dark but looking at used pairs it ranges, most are dark but some appear lighter. That a thing for these?

What price are they asking for? It also depends on what year of release it is.
In my opinion, if it was the last release I think you’ll be just fine. Yes the red on the Midsole or the mud guard if that’s what you’re talking about does change over time

The only thing you need to look out for from past experience is age will make the glue for the midsoles loosen up. Keep in mind you might have to do a re-glue in the future. I’m not so sure about ‘09 version but my og cherry’s the plastic side tab starts to crack and break apart due to age.
