That's the price I'm looking for but I saw $550.00 for a 10.5 on Goat

it took me months to find under $500 so it really comes down to what's the value of the shoe to you

hyped release coming in Jan and Feb, it scares me that i may be behind 2 release after Feb, it took awhile to get caught up to the 26prs as is, thread shut down in march by the way

Made up my mind and when with the 11s.

i was sleep i would've voted 12s only because they won't yellow and dirty as easily since they don't have the milky white sole and white midsole, and before someone says that's crazy, take a look at some of the used 72-10s on ebay, at the end of the day though nice come up and congrats on a great looking pair of shoes

The 12s have always looked like they wanted to be so much more. Then tinker said f it, gotta go, thisll have to do.

He obviously just to the concept of the 11 and took it a step further, but seemed to compromise the design right at the end of it and left it as a giant premature birth.

Look at it.

You can tell that the carbon fiber was originally wrap around the midfoot, that zig zag pattern is supposed to contine onto the jumpman tab, which shouldve been a continuous part of the carbon plate to begin with. the grooves in the rubber that wrap over it are clearly supposed to be cut out and the zig zag is supposed to be seen through the cut out grooves then rise past it. The plastic jumpman tab shouldnt be there. That carbon fiber plate was clearly supposed to cradle your midfoot and be one piece with one continuous zig zag design. I woildnt be surprised if Tinker wrote jumpman there as a placeholder for a small actual jumpman logo. He sucks at drawing it and probably couldnt draw one that small while being recognizable.

The rubber shouldve been translucent like the 11s. The pods on the sole at the heel and forefoot shouldve been opaque taxi yellow. The front foam midsole shouldve been white, along with the rear part. I like the two different textures though.

The white leather upper shouldve been the white mesh from the 11. the black reptile leather should had a super high gloss finish resembling patent leather.

The strip on the heel is white with a black square up top with a taxi jumpman in it. The 23 on the sole is taxi.

The lining is black.

Jumpman on the tongue stays black.

Jumpman on the toe is white.

Id have to change the zigzag pattern color to solid black like the 11s on the plate.

I happen to run across this post, and where are you getting this from? 

 He did not take the concept from the XI at all, it was a complete breakaway from the XI. If you notice, he designed shoes in groups of 3 with similarities ( III-V, VI-VIII, IX-XI), then he goes in another direction. XII's were inspired by the Japanese flag and the Nisshoki and old women's shoe. There are similarities between the XI design and original Nisshoki shoe. However, Tinker's original inspiration for the XI was that he wanted a basketball shoe to feel easy to put on and lace up, like a sock. Which is why we have the mesh and lacing system we do on the XIs.

They were just retroed. Even for JB, that's too soon.

Its not too soon for these if theyll have the og cut and quality. thats something they could do different than the cdp and 2014
