Here are some updates about the Space Jam Galaxy XI. Here's the story gimmick for these. The release date has changed as they are now coming out a month earlier than originally speculated. Expect the finished product to look like this.

Even money this is the insole squeaking like the X's.Today’s wear slight squeaking is annoying though
Try the baby powder fix. If you didn't know:
1} Remove the insole.
2.1} Squeeze/pour a small amount of UNSCENTED baby powder or cornstarch on the footbed.
2.2} Some idiots on the tube say to use WD40 - think about that. If WD40 can fix rusted metal and such, what will it do to you J's?
3} Gently shake the powder about until the footbed is covered.
4} Shake out the excess powder.
5} Use compressed air to blow the powder off the shoe. Re-insert insole.
That should take care of the squeak, if that was the issue. I don't recall any other defect in Nikes that cause a squeak.

I'm going to admit I'm disappointed they opted to go with the nondescript face box for the packaging of the pending 2026 Space Jam XI.
I truly thought they were going to be packaged in a gimmicky box to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the movie just like how they did it in 2016 when it coincided with the movie's 20th anniversary.
Sneaker Files even speculated there was a chance they were going to have special packaging to correlate with the 30th anniversary in its initial video speculating this 2026 rehash. That video also mentioned there was a possibility of the special packaging to justify the increased price for this version.

Cleaned them up for last couple wears this season.
For some reason I stop wearing them when summer approaches.
Yep I still wear jeans with 11s. (I know people think its weird)
This is the goat jordan for me.
*I missed out on all retailers on RD but miraculously hit on an END raffle. Only time ever.

I feel like we wont see a low version this decade so ive been ruining other lows in attempts to recreate.
*lessons learned
*dont leave brushes near them
*dont knock over brushes onto the uppers
*dont ever paint the mesh on 11s lol
*stop ruining other shoes cuz 11s just arent great for customizing
*ended up turning them into "infrared 23" retro+ custom from whatever years ago. (I did like those) original low model was the white / cement grey from a few years back.
Compared to know, that era low had a horrendous shape

Nice for what they are, but not feeling a pull tab on XIs. Don’t like the maize outline on the upper. That line/curve not a good look on XIs.
