:smh::sick::stoneface:@ the shape and cut of those lows. Hope you got them for dirt cheap. I had both, wore them each about two times (Concords never even outdoors) and they just sat in my closet till I finally unloaded them two years ago. Couldn't stand looking at them any longer
The newer XI lows are 20x better, though.

Thanks for sharing.

I'm glad you were able to catch the Foot Locker restock with the Gray XI. I still struck out unfortunately.

The 2021 version makes the 2010 look worse and more bootleg looking at those pictures!

While I despise the low cut of the mid-top XI between 2008 to 2015, it never bugged me too much with the low-top XI ironically. I guess I could live with it on the low-top since predicated on their lower cut height.

I wouldn't be able to tell of the new low-top XI have a better cut and shape since I last got a pair in 2018, the Jeter XI low to be specific.

Would love those 72 - 10s in the updated midcut mold shape. Backwards jumpman and horrid patent cut made them an easy pass but the cw unto itself is really nice.

Never for me because I will always dread the 72-10 since they always looked like some bootleg swap meet XI with the Space Jam & Black/Red integrated along with glittery patent leather.

Nah, I agree the shape is horrible. And they fit horrible too. They so freaking narrow, I got them for 100 each and only reason I got them was for collection purposes. JB probably won’t be giving us a proper low in a long time

Yeah they fit horribly, too. The newer lows have a good shape. I first noticed it when I got the navy snakes in 2019. Came home, put them next to my black/reds and concords—and took the latter two to my local consignment shop the next day LOL

I honestly never knew the original release for the Gray XI was that f'd up until I stumbled on this moments ago. I wasn't aware of the chaos involved in 2001 because I wasn't interested in them.

I'm finally remembered to post photos of the 2018 Jordan XI Jeter Low. I got them on release day in April 2018.

I liked how they integrated baseball aspects on these. I also liked the substitute of suede all over these instead of going with the traditional patent leather that will always define the XI.

I definitely had to get them because I'm a big Derek Jeter fan, and I already had the authentic jerseys for years before the shoes came out. I wear them primarily with these jerseys.

The Jeter XIs are one of the most comfortable XIs due to the leather insole.

I want to eventually double up on these
