Cooking up some customs
Original colorway: cement grey something
Trying to do a jordan 6 infrared inspired.
Angelus infrared seems very dark.
Infrared 2014 is very pink (close to am90)
Have to clean up details.
*unsure about so much white on the midsole though

These are really good customs. Touch up that midsole paint and rock them with pride...

Appreciate it!
I know many dislike customs and ive had plenty that just end up looking bad.
But this was a fun one to do.
Flip flopped on the infrared color and blocking in particular.

But have to stay conmited and will be finishing it off sometime this week

One thing I noticed, the leather on this pair was very soft and pliable. Far less plasticky then most 3s.

Especially that strip that runs above the elephant print panels. Usually thats some real synthetic feeling stuff.

As far as retro+ colorways goes, I might look back on this 2020- now stretch and rank it up there.

Next one im going to mess with will be the fragments.
Heel tab is practically glow in the dark and black panels glitter is crazy now

Some other favorites for me are
Flip, katrina, tinkers, others im forgetting during the banana boat work boot toe shape era.

Nah they are fire brother. The brown, black, and red mesh together beautifully imo. Gonna wait till they go on sale before I cop. JB has perfected the 3s

Never meant to come off that way , but apparently that’s how you took it. At the end of the day, it’s just shoes bro. This is a shoe forum last time I checked.

Sprayed satin finish and took some of the shine away.
Reminds me of cyber Mondays from whatever years ago lol

Also posted to levis 3 thread but fairly happy with black -> white pair. (Didnt start that way if you look in that thread lol)





Debating if I should leave my 2nd black pair as is or mess around with it too

I cant figure out why they made the midsole that sail vs toe wrap white. It just looks weird to me

NEX... there was a flash sale for 96 bucks. They raised prices back up to 129... not sure how many sizes they have left.

I wonder if the "Utility" pair ends up looking like a Bred 3 (so to speak).

Something tells me there's gonna be something extra on them the leakers don't know yet.
