Personally I see Nike rather than JB releasing the Air Ships as the Ships fall more under Nike's past basketball line. Even though the Air Ships that Jordan wore were different than the other Air Ships marketed at the time (featured a sole closer to the AJ 1, more of a mid top etc.) I feel like the sampling and tooling done for MJs particular pairs wouldn't be enough to allow JB to retro the model on its own or tied directly to one of its products. We've been seeing partnerships between JB and Nike happening more frequently recently, such as JB using more "Nike Air" on retros so I don't see why Nike wouldn't release the model all the while promoting it by tying them back to Jordan playing in them.
