Official Jordan 1.5

The Jordan 1.5 is great. The tongue is fugly tho. That off white color is offputting. Great shoe nonetheless.

Whether u love the sneaker, or you love clowning the sneaker..at least the sneaker is relevant. You have repeat offenders trolling..and you have others that choose to be guardians of the 1.5s that defend the honor and integrity of this sneaker like it's the queen's cherry.
At least this thread didn't just die like the PreGrape 5 thread. This sneaker generates heat..positive and negative..soo if reading someone's opinion that you don't agree with offends you..then this isn't the thread for you.
If you want to comment in a thread where everyone comes in to celebrate the sneaker...look around..they don't exist..closest I've seen to that is the Chicago 1 thread. Some people kill the Bordeauxs in the Bordeaux thread.
U might as well ask the mod to lock this thread because you're ultra sensitive about people making fun of something YOU bought to make YOURSELF happy.
Having soo many people wanting Chicago 2015s..and not all being able to get them..this is their next best thing..and for those that did buy chicago 2015s..this is a great sneaker to dopplegang in and keep their 2015s pristine
thats what makes things great, the diversity of taste and opinion and it also keeps this thread going, relevant and entertaining. i loved the idea and the shoe itself in theory is amazing but to me they failed on the execution and in some pics they look good but after trying them on i had to pass but keep it going guys whether good or bad!

people are mocking these 1.5s because they were not released in limited numbers. I bet if these were limited to 2,000 nationwide, these same haters would've been camping for 2 weeks outside the stores, and woudl be praising how they have special different bottom than the 1s, how these are the MJ's concept shoes, how yellow the tongue is like its 1986.. etc. etc.

but now that these are sitting on shelves days after the release date, haters be like "they look like clown shoes! " "ewww that yellow tongue" etc. etc.

well... same story goes for all the releases now days. sad.. very sad. all about hype.

great shoes are great shoes, not because someone else thinks they are great.
As an owner of 1s and 1.5s, I thank Nike for bringing these out finally. I've seen pics of MJ wearing 1.5s for years and now I finally understand what it was about. Nike gave me a chance to actually own this unknown concept in 2015.

now, how about that Nike Dunk bottom Chicagos? has anyone seen them in old pictures? I need them now!

i need to stop coming in this thread and looking at pics, the history alone on this shoe might make me look past it but i think id rather have UNCs in the closet than these and if i come home with another pair of chicago 1s my wife will flip cuz she wont notice the sole difference and the significance of them so im a pass and the shape makes that a little easier as well

these are nice, the only thing i hate about the 1.5 is that the side on the midsole is thick that it looks like a woman platform shoes tho

they ugly bruh period.

Majority of people don't give a crap about the history, yet alone had heard about the shoe until last month. Face it, its a consolation prize for the Chi 1s, simple as that. I've read more people discussing the mold of the 1.5 compared to the 1s instead of the the actual 1.5 sample. They don't care about this model, they just want something that looks like the Chi 1s.

Not to mention no one is speaking a word on or anticipating the black/gum colorway that was revealed months ago.

does that mean when you tried them on, they werent comfy for you?

Well, I'm glad you know it all and can speak for all people. What would the world do without you. :lol

It's FAR from a consolation prize for me, and maybe people aren't talking about the black/gum's because it actually wasn't a game worn color. Duh.

oh not at all, in fact i wish my other jordan 1s were that comfortable, but when i put them on and looked down at them they looked weird to me, just not right so i passed

I think these had about the same release numbers as the regular Chi 1s... At least that's what it looks like on the Foot Locker map.

You're welcome.

Wearing regular 1s today (Nouveau mids), and the difference in comfort between the footbeds of these and the 1.5s is amazing . That AJ2 midsole is just soooo much more comfortable. Between the comfort and the ease of copping the 1.5s locally, I'd actually rather get the Bred & Royal 1.5s than fight the crowds to get any potential '15/'16 remastered AJ1 versions.

This. The bred 1.5 is an automatic cop for me. I'm just feeling nervous that they will be hard to get.

........... but the collector in me will still sweat hard and try and get the AJ1's anyway. LOL.
