they're not thin, its basically a super hood with a satin-type inner lining...i've had the black one for while now, retail is $85 ibelieve (not what i paid), which isn't too crazy considering super hoods retail for 60

Agreed. This coat would be ill in solid color. Any suggestions? That Banana Republic joint is a tad pricey.
