So i unlocked my iphone today and now it will not sync to my mac can anyone tell me what i need to do to fix this

I had mine jailbroken for a few months then all of a sudden last week safari kept crashing. I tried everything but I just restored and its working better thanever.

^ just name the wallpaper you want to use as your sms background to SMSBackground.png
put it in the main theme folder that you use, respring

So I broke my Iphone, basically just the screen is broken its all white and you can't see anything and I was wondering two things 1) If I can just put thesim card in another iphone to check my texts and voicemail and 2) If I can just put the sim card into some older phone that uses sim cards. The older phone isa sony ericson walkman and while I wanna just give it a shot I don't want to ruin my sim card. Thanks a lot NT

yeah. theres not really any risk in jailbreaking. from what i understand everything is fixable

readin through this thread has inspired me to finally jailbreak my phone....
1.when I jailbreak, I know to intall cydia, but what about "installer" and "replace boot logos" what are their significance
2.also if something goes wrong do i undo it by just restoring defaults?

Question. So I jailbroke my iPhone 3G with my laptop a month or so ago. Recently, I had to get that laptop wiped. My phone is still Jailbroke and everything,but where or how would I go about finding, and or creating those private folders? I want to be able to see where I can place pictures for my SMS, and find mysaved downloaded youtube vids. Anyone got any suggestions for me? Thanks.

Installer has no value to me, has a lot less than cydia, and very few developers use it anymore. Replace boot logos will replace the Apple Logofrom Boot-up with the Pinapple, from Quickpwn, and if anything does go wrong, or if you need to take to Apple, for AT&T users, you can restore and theywill never know it was jailbroken, unless you tell them, and they will not think highly of you.

whenever i try to download iLog from Installer, i get an error message saying "unable to decode package, more info athttp://iphone.ileks.com/iLog/info.php"

Did you move "User Wallpaper" above the name of the theme you're using in winterboard?
