Violations of the rule/protocol specify automatic fine of $25,000. No word from NHL if Cameron's post-game comments qualify as violation.

If NHL so chooses, door appears open to fine OTT head coach Dave Cameron/Sens $25,000 for potentially violating so-called "48 hour rule."

What is playoff hockey?
Not what the Caps played last night
Not what the Caps played last night
Unfortunately, we have a dumb/fairweather fanbase for the Caps. I'm not surprised
Where was the sense of urgency last night? Dudes were sleepwalking through the entire game. I didn't see any hunger or fight at all. It would be easier to swallow a pill following a hard fought loss than what we saw last night . It was lightwork for the Islanders. While it's only 1 game and I didn't expect a sweep, things HAVE to change for the Caps in game 2. I just hope Tom Wilson is ready to go, because the team can use his physicality on the forecheck to help create turnovers.
Also, Trotz needs to stop with the dump and chase BS. Let guys carry the puck in and be creative when entering the zone.
SO frustrating.

@Real_ESPNLeBrun: NHL discipline chief Stephane Quintal confirms P.K. Subban not facing any more discipline for slash on Stone. Penalty last night sufficed.
