I really hate how they hide injuries like crazy on the injury report. I get why but compared to basketball or football it’s like so different.

Not really. That year Stamkos missed the finals when they lost way back, they hid the real reason cuz it was too personal.

Yea but it’s so generic. Lower body or upper body injury.

It could be a concussion, migraines, shoulder, elbow, hand, chest, abs, and it’s all upper body. It’s ultra generic.

without sounding like the cliche "hockey players are different" dudes, i think part of it is obviously to keep guys from targeting those areas, given how physical the game is and how they're gonna play through some things that are borderline insane

Yea but I’m more of the idea of we never get real time lines because of that. So like when the rangers lost Kakko we didn’t know if it would be season or 2 weeks or 2 months. Thankfully it was 2 months but you know what I mean.

Just copped a ticket to Stars Knights game 7. Should be fun to watch a game 7 live without any real rooting interest in it.

I think Dallas wins. They’re going to have to earn it though. But if they win, Vegas in the first round is going to be a blessing in disguise for them.

That’s the type of matchup which will set you up for success in the later rounds. I got the winner Sunday beating Colorado in round 2.

I think Vegas is much more equipped to beat Colorado coming off a 7 game round. We’ll see if Marchment and Faksa can come back for game 7 to provide some physicality to combat Vegas. I’m honestly shocked we got it to 3-2 after being down 0-2, so no telling what happens on Sunday.

I think it’s a prove it game for the Stars. They’ve had some pretty good squads the last 5 years or so. They’ve won some playoff series and even went to the finals in 2020. This season they’ve played like a serious cup contender all year only to draw the defending champs in the first round who are a much better squad than their wild card seed would indicate.

Hopefully the Stars win but I have no real rooting interest Sunday either way. I’ll take a few overtime’s with a Pavelski game winner.

Last Stars game I went to was the Modano statue unveiling game. Got blasted at the St Patrick’s day parade and my usual pre game spot. Stumbled into the AAC midway through the second period. Got to randomly meet Modano as he was by the statue taking pics which was kinda cool.
