****OFFICIAL GUCCI MANE & BRICKSQUAD 1017****

^^^^ Hopefully it won't be as weak as the last WW3 trilogy. Only good one was Gas..

No love for molly or lean tho? I ****** wit all 3

Only songs I liked were

Molly : Pocket Full of Money, Throw that *****, Long Time

Lean : Ecstasy Pill, Serving Lean, Blue Face, Dope Show.

I kinda miss having them on my phone though :| Just cuz it was Gucci :(

Haven't got to listen to Brick Factory yet, will do so this evening but I did hear one single couple weeks ago.... "Pour Some More" that joint is the goods and reminds me a lot of La Flare.

I personally viewed WW3 as one long mixtape, with that said, that joint was a heater with a ton of good songs that I still listen to pretty heavy... this lil girl in here saying only one was good is just an attention seeking bird who just be talking too much... he ain't momma's baby he's momma's boy.

Brick Factory was sounding pretty pedestrian in the whip on first listen.

Yall probably still sleeping on Thugga Man though.

OMG BRO :hat :hat :hat :hat
Out My Biz :hat :hat
Bricks :hat :hat :hat
Need :hat :hat
Sibling :hat :hat :hat
Ride Around the City :hat
Took By a ***** :hat

and WW3 was fire. It's touch to not miss on a few when you goin for 30+ songs but those joints were solid.

Diary of a Trap God is the one though. One of his best tapes ever idc. :smokin

I still haven't gotten around to listening to Cage Bird Sings was the retail album any good?

A lot to like on the Caged Bird Sings... Double, Do It, Jackie Chan, Mention Me, Ice Cold (I usually don't like his songs with Verse Simmons, generally female songs, but this joint is pretty catchy.)

That tape is nice and sadly it'll get slept on. Cutters and Half :x :smokin
I disagree. I think dudes know its flames. Me and this dude at my job got cool cuz I was walking around rapping cutters and everyday we have Gucci convo

She A Soldier, Stash House, Club Swole and Nights Like This >>>>>>>>>>

TI paved the way from the trap to commercial success and legitimate mainstream super stardom but that's really not the path Gucci has followed.

All the ATL cats the last five years have fallowed the path Gucci trailblazed.

It's 90% Gucci 10% TIP.

w/o Trap or Die and 101 a lot of these dudes would probably still be snappin and leanin. Jeezy gave non-rapping _'s a lane.

Just my opinion.

Gucci wasnt mainstream in 09?

Obsessed remix, song with mario, lemonade, him going to jail after that obviously stopped the momentum he had, but dropping mixtapes every other month isnt really a "path", if you're not on a major label and want to stay buzzin you have to drop mixtapes, the only thing gucci influenced on these new rappers are the adlibs, every rapper got adlibs now

Yeah and then Jeezy gave it the sound. Then when Jeezy started to slip Gucci became that dude for the trap sound.

I agree. Gucci kind of changed the sound. Now its silly trap rappers all over the place... I agree with all of you.

wonder how he'd be doing if he never went to jail that time

That jail stint stopped him mainstream momentum cold. I wasn't even feeling Gucci like that until "Bricks" dropped, and even I was able to see how fast he was getting on. Dude was everywhere and was a legit star. Jail + that wack Swizz Beatz track killed him off.

No, he really wasn't... Lemonade was just like any other catchy song you'd hear on a Wilt Chamberlin mixtape, the chorus/hook just made it radio friendly and even that was edited on the radio version. Mainstream in my eyes in when the artist changes their aura/music/character/crowd they hang with/etc. to fit the mold of what white america would approve of.... I saw zero of that from Gucci. (Only thing I'll give you is that Gucci Time track.)

Ehh idk I see what you mean with your definition, that ***** was still kinda mainstream tho :lol

Wasted, Lemonade, Spotlight :x , Obsessed Remix, Trey songs feature, Mario feature, Black Eyed Peas Boom Boom Pow Remix, Gucci Time, etc

I think at that time he was doing a good job of balancing the "mainstream" with the streets but you could definitely see his **** changing a lil bit to appeal to a broader group of people

Look at State vs Radric Davis. I **** with the album way more now than I did when it dropped, but you can't go listen to Burrprint 3D one of his best tapes and then go listen to the album which dropped only 2 months later and tell me that's the same Gucci

The jail stints messed him up after that the mainstream doors closed and the quality of music started to drop. Had he not came back hard as hell with Trap Back I think a lot of people would've stopped checking for him
