Can someone explain all the EDC love? I don't understand it.
PLEASE not in here lol.
Lol didn't mean it like that. Don't know anything about EDC, but keep hearing and seeing about it. Is it like a mix of Coachella meets Ultra meets Burning Man?

More or less. People say it's all about the music but then show up and do tons of drugs or are just looking for hookups.
So from the first few pages I got some nice updates. I'm going Friday-Sunday at the end of the month and our original plan was Marquee/Hakassan but now I'm thinking to add Light, never heard of that place.
Ecook, opinions on Hakassan and Light (the two I've never been to). I apologize if it's already been discussed but it's a long *** thread and I tried to read the first few pages lol
Monte Carlo regular room is small. If your group is like 5-6 people you could do connecting rooms there, but it sounds like you ain't too worried bout being crowded.
The casino in Monte Carlo is whatever, nothing special. There is a nice little food court down there though. IMO you're better off gambling at mgm right across the street.
Also, Tahoe on the 4th is
I might be sounding dumb as hell, but isn't gambling the same price everywhere?
Fremont street is coo doe cuz they still got a few machines that spit out coins
Dunno if October varies, I went a month ago for the Pacquiao fight with my bro and it was $1500 total round trip+hotel for 3 nights at MGM from Chi for the both of us. I think we booked via Travelocity. We almost stayed at Aria or NYNY. Aria is legit but I'm glad we didn't stay at NYNY (prices are all w/in a few hundred dollars of each other). There was a fun atmosphere at MGM on fight night. Def stay in the strip.Planning a trip to Vegas this October with a few of my friends to celebrate our birthdays.
How much spending money should I try to set aside?
What are the hotel rates that time of year?
Any events I should look out for?
